Good location well worth an overnight stay

Good location. Old building but modernised, clean room and comfortable beds. A nice place for a stay to explore the town of Lüneburg. A very friendly staff and well worth an overnight stay. It is also worth knowing that the hotel is called Hotel Garni and is located next door to the Kutscherstube restaurant.

The actual hotel name is Hotel Garni, next door to Kutscherstube restaurant. Booked and pre paid for a room with King Bed. The room provided had 2 singles in separate rooms. When I queried I was advised the other room was taken.

Place not secure, management not responsible

My suitcase handed for storage was left on the corridor rather than in a locked luggage room. Hotel was burgled, my suitcase stolen. Since 08.08. no response, apology or recompensation to my written complaints. So not recommended for security reasons and lack of care for guests.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, mitten in der Altstadt. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da, ohne Frühstück. Das Hotel ist sanierungsbedürftig, insbesondere das Bad. Es handelt sich um ein altes Gebäude mit steiler Treppe ohne Aufzug. Keine Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel. Parkhaus in der Nähe, 10 Minuten.

Ikke prisen værd

Gammelt slidt hotel. Den såkaldte "parkering tilgængelig" består af et parkeringshus mindst 10 minutters gang væk. Hotellet var aflåst ved vores ankomst og vi måtte ringe på forgæves af flere omgange før vi endelig blev låst ind af en sur ung kvinde som åbenbart følte vi forstyrrede hende. Værelset var oppe under taget, 3. sal uden elevator. Aircondition fungerede ikke og blev heller ikke repareret under opholdet. Morgenmad ok,men klart dårligere end andre hoteller til tilsvarende pris.

Godt hotel midt i byen

Ligger centralt. Stedet er præget af at være af ældre dato, hvilket er en charme ved hotellet. Det bør dog oplyses, at det ikke er et sted for gangbesværede, da der ikke er elevator. Der bør også oplyses om, at parkeringsmuligheden er et parkeringshus med afgift. Alt i alt et hotel vi godt kan anbefale andre, der vil opleve den dejlige by.

Lille slidt hotel i centrum

Et hotel tæt på bymidten. Anbefales absolut ikke til gangbesværede. Ingen elevator og trappen er meget smal og stejl også er der lagt tæppemåtter på trinene der ikke ligger fast. Reseptionen lukker kl 17. Der er ingen parkerings muligheder i nærheden, p hus ligger ca 10 min gang derfra og koster 20€ pr nat. Ingen elkoger, og ikke nogen mulighed for morgenmad, dog ligger der en lille cafe i nærheden.

Zunächst einmal zum Positiven: - sehr gute, zentrale Lage. Eingebettet in der wunderschönen Altstadt Lüneburgs. - Für die Sicherheit der Hotelgäste wird bestens gesorgt (Kameraüberwachung Eingangsbereich, Zugang zum Hotel erhält nur wer im Besitz des Hotelschlüssels ist oder nach dem Klingeln vom Hotelempfang hereingelassen wird, Tür lässt sich nur mittels eines Knopfes und das Ziehen des Türgriffs öffnen) - Hotel ist fußläufig vom Bahnhof aus erreichbar - man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem vom Hotel aus erkunden - Das Zimmer in dem wir übernachteten war groß und geräumig - Das Hotelpersonal freundlich und bemüht. Und nun zu dem was uns weniger gut gefiel: - Wir bewohnten ein Dachgeschosszimmer freuten uns über ein Klimagerät im Raum, welches abends/nachts in Betrieb genommen aber leider nur leidlich kalte Luft verströmte/ extrem laut war. Die Lüftung im Bad war auch irgendwann aus. Beides machte auf uns einen reparierungsbedürftigen , alten Eindruck. - WLAN gab es keines obwohl es im Zimmer in einem Infoblatt angegeben wurde - Wir freuten uns beim Personal über die Badewanne mit der unser Bad ausgestattet war, das Personal freute sich sogar mit aber das Wasser war dort abgestellt als wir baden wollten (Warum sagt man das uns nicht einfach? ) - Ein Sofa das über und über mir Stockflecken besetzt war - Ein Außenrolladen ließ sich nicht bedienen weil dieser bis auf einen Faden zerschlissen war - Ein Wasserhahn der nur warmes Wasser abgab/schwacher Strahl

Ingen reception,- blev guidet via telefon - underlig oplevelse. Parkering 15 min. gang fra hotellet - burde være oplyst i annoncen. Super morgenmad - gode restauranter i nærheden. Vi mødte overhovedet ingen,- tjekkede ud ved at lægge nøglen i køkkenet…

Sehr schönes Fachwerkhaus mit einfach ausgestatteten praktischen Zimmern. Trotz zentraler Lage ist es angenehm ruhig. Auf Wunsch gibt es für kleines Geld ein gutes Frühstück. Sehr netter Empfang beim Einchecken, ich komme gerne wieder..
