Loved this place! The rooms were small but the view made up for it. Debbie and her staff were great. I will definitly come back.

Worse stay ever! The wall plugs have not yet been updated for grounded outlets. Room was dingy and very unwelcoming. No shampoo. No decaf coffee! (The nice lady at the counter actually went and got some. Yay! for her.) If I would have died in this room, assuming I'm not going to heaven, all I would have had to do was just lay there. I am ashamed of Travelocity for booking this room for me (almost thirty miles from my destination (no doubt some box I failed to see). $129.00 plus tax per night for the worse stay ever. Outside of the nice gesture from Nancy the counter lady, this was so bad it makes me not even want to visit the town again.

Hi Bill,
I'm sorry that your stay at the Riverside was not a good experience. My wife and I bought the motel on October 15th and we have a LOT of work to do in order to bring it up to our standards. We own three other small motels and have gone through the same gradual renovation process with each of them. We plan to upgrade and modernize every single room with new lighting, furniture, bedding, electrical outlets, paint -- everything. I hope that we will be able to earn your business again in the future.

Bad stay in Manistee
Bad stay in Manistee the room was old bedding probably was clean no towels no maid service we still paid our money but was disappointed after we got the towels they didn't change Them the following day never saw a maid and operator or a clerk or anybody after that day it was nobody around

My wife and I bought this motel on October 15th and I apologize for the bad experience that you had here.
We will run this motel much differently including a live-in manager on site 24x7. We will be upgrading each and every room, pillow, sheet, towel, etc. We own three other small motels in Rhode Island and went through the same gradual renovation process with each of them.
