The view and the staff friendliness are unbeatable. We disliked that the adult pool is out of commission and the place needs a lot of upkeep. If we retrun to tobago, we will still choose magdalena!

We sincerely apologize that one of the adult pool was out of service. However, there are two smaller pools, one on either wing of the building. Weren't you given the option to use the other one? Regarding the upkeep, our Engineering department has been working tirelessly to address the issues we are currently faced with. The hotel was close to other amenities.

Pros: The sincerity of the staff and management.
Cons: For a 4.5 star hotel, it is poor to the standard that I am used to! A simple commodity such as bottled water were not given to guests.
Location: Not at the hotel, but nearby Crownpoint had a lot to offer. It would have been nice if the hotel had facilitate some activities for the guess.
Politeness and friendliness of the staff and management. Nonetheless, I had to ask for toiletries, bath robe,and basic entities that should be supplied by any hotel at that rating. The general building needs up -dating and this includes the room's furnitures and that of the foyer. The bed was comfortable. The fridge was not working or closing properly. When it rains, it is likely that accidents could occur by slips or trips due to wet surfaces. One night I had my toilet flooded the room, the plumber was prompt, but the cleaner was too familiar as I am not his darling. This incident was reported to mangement which was dealt with promptly. The foyer did not have any air condition which was not satisfactory. The breakfast, lunch, dinner were good, but there is room for improvement. The drinks is very expensive. There were no entertainment at the hotel for the guests which is very unsatisfactory. The owners of the hotel need to review it standards and improve the general surrounding. A question was aske of me, would I recommend this hotel? My answer is no not until some improvement is made and the owners review the totality of the hotel facilities.

Very nice hotel

Pros: The location.. The view, all the different spots to sit and just ENJOY the view..
Cons: More staff..
Location: This was a disappointment, I expected everything within walking distance, but you need to take a shuttle or taxi. I just wish it was closer.
I loved this hotel, my only regret was that my stay was not longer. I the view from my room was beautiful, and the grounds was absolutely lovely. My only complain was having to wait for service on a couple of occasions, at breakfast & again at dinner.. After being seated, it took quite a while for our waiter to arrive, and then, they were not very attentive after the food arrived. I believe it was due to lack of employees on staff and not neglect. Over all, I loved the hotel and would definitely stay there again.. This time with my significant other.. ;-))
