Great house for large groups. My family spent Christmas here. Well equipped and furnished for us and a great location!Minor issue but there was an unrepaired hole in the kitchen ceiling, probably from a plumbing repair

This house was perfect for our party as its in a great location that is walkable to restaurants and the grocery store couldn't be more convenient! Its also a short Uber ride to/from the airport, downtown, Churchill Downs and great location for our KBB tour!

Great house and very responsive hosts

The house is excellent. The common areas are really excellent and are easily large enough to accommodate the advertised capacity of the house. This includes the spacious and private outdoor area. The pool table is also a great bonus. The bedrooms are nicely appointed a spacious. The hosts are very responsive to questions. I gave a mid rating on location and neighborhood simply because of all the homeless. The area is great, there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance so a car is totally unnecessary and there is a grocery store right behind the house. However, there are a lot of homeless around and throughout our stay, even in the middle of the night and very early morning, there would be someone screaming at the top of their lungs right outside the house.

Awesome house in a great neighborhood

This place was perfect for our group. We had 6 couples stay and it was such a great location. It is close to so many things to do and the grocery store is right behind the house. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient & Excellent Host / Customer Service

Overall, the property is well represented with the online description. Communication from the host was exceptional and the check-in / check-out process were a breeze. Recommendations for local restaurants and attractions were provided, which were fantastic. The property is large and our five adults had plenty of space. We had a large vehicle with us, and street parking was never an issue. A few points for consideration for future guests: - The neighborhood seems to be in transition, and walking around after dark made us uncomfortable at times. - There is a small shopping center behind the home and an alley to one side; including some fast food options. On more than one occassion we had people screaming in the middle of the night (2-4am). - Garbage pickup was also a frequent occurence for the shopping center behind the home, often occuring in the early morning hours (5-6am). - The house is old, and while well preserved, there is little to soften the noise the creeking of the wood floors. Overall, these concerns were mild, but they definitely contributed to some sleepless nights. There were a few other concerns noted about the property, but we made the owner aware and they were addressed immediately. The HVAC was also not working when we arrived, but we were informed ahead of time and someone was scheduled immediately to address the issue. Communication with the owner was definitely appreciated.

Great stay - Would visit again.

This home was perfect for our group of 14 adults visiting the Bourbon trail. Lots of space to hang out on the first floor and bedrooms for everyone. My only recommendation would be to add locks to all the bedrooms. It felt strange not being able to lock the doors. Overall, highly recommend!

A beautiful house in the Highlands

The house was lovely and clean, and well appointed. It had all the things we needed for cooking and entertaining. The hot tub and fire pit were a very nice addition even though the weather was brutally cold while we were there (when the storm of the century came through). The owners were kind and responsive with our needs and we were well pleased with the accommodations.

We had a great family gathering here for Thanksgiving. So many sleeping options, lots of bathrooms, fully appointed kitchen, nice outdoor space. Perfect location for a relaxing time in Louisville.

Great Stay

This was a perfect alternative to booking 6 hotel rooms for our staff team attending a conference, and helped in building camaraderie as well. Thanks to the hosts for their communication and hospitality. The house is located near a small convenience store and several great cafés. Highly recommended.

Gettin’ Lucky in Kentucky

We definitely got lucky with this house. We had 10 adults and this was the perfect place for everyone. We were close to a lot of restaurants. Downtown was close enough to Uber. If we come back we would definitely look at renting this place again!

Great place for a large group

This is nice property in a great location. The House slept 12 people comfortably and there was plenty of room to spread out in the common areas. The pool table was a big plus and the patio area could host the whole group. The location was near plenty of restaurants, bars and night life and just a few minute uber ride to downtown. The host was excellent to work with and communicated promptly.

Great Place, Cool Owners

We came here for a guys bourbon trail visit. The house is in a great location, perfect walking distance from lots of great restaurants and bars. The house was spacious and clean and accommodated 10 guys really well. The owners also reached out multiple times during our stay to see how things were going. I would recommend this place for sure.

A drink above the rest

This location is top-notch and I will stay here again when we are in Kentucky next time. The building has a charm of an old city while the interior is new on contemporary. Communication with the owners and the property management was easy and smooth. We had an AC issue and they solved it fast and effectively. The decor is amazing and we spent lots of time in the common area attached to the kitchen playing poll and hanging out, it is a great space. The little community around the house has something for everyone within walking distance and is a fun little nook of Louisville. This location will make your enhance your trip to Kentucky and might even become a highlight of the trip.
