Cute apartment, but be aware of drawbacks

The apartment was cute enough with a lovely view of Glendale, but the description on VRBO was incomplete. The apartment was at the top of 36 very steep stairs without a adequate handrail. This was not mentioned in the description. We left early because one of us has a disability, so to avoid an accident we left after one night. Also, the host was unsympathetic, and did not offer a refund. Also, though it is listed as having a kitchenette, there was no microwave, and just a hot plate an electric kettle. Also no shower, just a bathtub with a handheld wand and no enclosure. Very disappointing.
