A nice apartment in a well maintained private complex right next to the beach, with either underground parking or plenty of space outside.The location is right next to the beach on the edge of the urban area, at the end of the now military training airport. There is a nice beach bar/restaurant just outside and loads of places to try kite surfing, paddle boarding etc.The apartment is light, the galley kitchen has the essentials, and although it’s nice to have a kettle, it would be good to also have a coffee pod machine, as they’re easier to use than the cafetière! The bedroom is a good size, and the aircon for the apartment is effective. The sofas are comfortable, but the second sofa made the living room feel a bit cramped. There is excellent 400mbps WiFi and we had good communication with the host.What didn’t we like?There is only one set of keys provided so we couldn’t do our own thing so easily.There are no power sockets near the table in the living room, I bought an extension lead that I left behind!The flight training starts at 08:30 most days, we got used to the prop sound though. There is construction of new homes between the apartment and the beach, although nearly complete, the noise started 08:00, there are no shutters, so it was quite noticeable, also no net curtains for privacy.The area is surrounded by marsh land and the biting insects were persistent, although there are mosquito screens on the windows, the midges still get through.
