Overall we had a good stay. We loved the view of the Pacific Ocean from our window and balcony. The bed was comfortable. A few glitches included the fact that our TV didn't work (or the remotes-2 of them). I tried to call the front desk but the landline phone didn't even have a dial tone. I called the hotel on my cell phone to speak with the front desk. Veronical was friendly and helpful and offered to come and see what the problem was. However, since there seemed to be a lack of staff I told her not to worry about it. We had to be very careful using the shower because a note from the hotel said that the steam would set off the smoke alarm. The complimentary breakfast was varied and good. However, the eggs ran out about 1/2 hour before breakfast was over and were not replenished. The hotel and grounds have seen better days but we still enjoyed the perks like our bedroom view and proximity to the beach.

Wife and I booked a king ocean view room, but the key cards we were given didn’t work on the room door so went back down to the office. Lady said there was probably something wrong with the lock and so now room isn’t available and had to move us to a 2-queen bed ocean view. I asked for a refund of the difference in rooms but apparently the 2-queen was ‘more expensive’, I don’t see how that’s possible but whatever. I tried again in the morning hoping for a different staff member, but same lady was still there and said the same thing. Oh well. Room was pretty beat up. The bathroom vent is not an actual vent, it’s a vet cover over a hammered hole in the ceiling. Worst of all, the smoke detector was visibly old so I checked the date. Manufactured in 2005, meaning it expired in 2015. Meaning it has been expired for over 10 years. Wild to me.

The room was very vintage, which is fine, but I chose this motel over nicer ones because it advertised having an indoor pool and jacuzzi for my best friend's birthday celebration. No one bothered to let us know that the jacuzzi jets weren't working. The guy told us the jacuzzi worked but didn't have the jets working. So, in other words it wouldn't be any different than sitting in a bathtub. Talk about a disappointment. I could have reserved a much nicer room for the same price if I had of been made aware if this ahead of time. No maid service during our stay and when we asked for extra towels we were told we'd have to come get them ourselves. No do not disturb signs, not that it matters, they didn't provide maid service. I would not stay here again.

When arriving we were told we had to pay an additional resort fee. The internet did not work in our room. The breakfast was ok. The room we stayed in was supposed to been just remodeled however paint was chipping. I will not e going back.

Staff is very nice and the beds weren’t terrible. Love that it is pet friendly and very accommodating for dogs. However, not ideal for families with young kids that go to bed early. It’s a very lively place and stays quite loud until quiet hours at 10pm. Would not fault the hotel for that however, overall it’s a wonderful place.

So my husband and I booked this hotel wanting a weekend away at a hotel with a hot tub. He even called before booking to make sure it was in working order. We show up and our room is very run down. Stains on the carpet and furniture and it certainly hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. We were trying to let that slide because, hot tub. We wait for ‘adult hour’ get down there and the tub isn’t working. Apparently it kept flipping a breaker so they had to flip it to fire it up, only to find out there’s only one set of jets working. Not to mention the hairs and black chunks floating along with a slime of what appeared to be skin floating along the top of the water. Now, you’d think this would be the cherry on top but you’re in for a treat. We get back to our room, shower after the terrifying hot tub experience and my husbands head sticks to the headboard when he sits down to chill out for the night. Luckily the front staff is great so they were at least able to move us to a clean room for the night but we checked out a full day early. I’ve booked better rooms at $50/night.

the beds had sand in them like we pulled the blankets to go to bed, and they were full of sand from the people who stayed previously.

Nice ocean views. This is exactly what I envision a beachfront resort should be. Clean, friendly, and welcoming. It's not fancy but it's perfect.

Good place to stay overall, but for a resort, you could have more than just one elevator. The way you establish the elevator on one end, and stairs on the other may not be too convenient for guests with accessibility issue, and having to walk more than necessary to get to an elevator. Other than that, good location, good reception. Nothing further to complain about.

Three or is it four times i have stayed here and each time it gets better. Great view from my rooms the peace i want that comes the sound of the ocean. Who can beat that!!!!
