DO NOT BOOK

We never received instructions on how to access the property. When we got there, I called the owner and he said he'd "have our roommates come down and open the door." He then went on to explain that this was a shared accommodation and if I was unhappy I could cancel. There was no ambiguity - he clearly indicated all we had rented was a single a bedroom. He also repeatedly tried to get me to cancel, although I did not agree to this as I wanted to see the property. However, when someone eventually did open the door at the specified address they told us it wasn't an apartment building but an office building (a co-working area - this was definitely the case when we looked inside). At this point, we gave up and called VRBO. After nearly two hours on the phone (calling internationally, and most of the time spent on hold), VRBO was clearly going to do NOTHING to help us find an alternative accommodation, although we did get a full refund. We had to book a hotel for that night and then airbnb for the remainder of the stay. Don't let this happen to you - go elsewhere.

Terrible experience. Owner cancelled on us. DO NOT STAY HERE

We can't say anything about the property because we never saw it. After curt and contradictory communication about check in prior to arriving, the owner cancelled the booking AFTER the scheduled start of the reservation but before we had gotten there. This left us in the middle of London, a family of four, with all our luggage and no place to go or stay, and the host offered no help or even an apology. Even prior to this, we were dubious of this host. They offered early check in, for which we paid extra, only to find that it was the same time as listed check in and thus of no use to us. This whole experience really destroyed our final day in London and completely pulled the rug out from under us. DO NOT TRUST THIS PROPERTY OWNER.
