The Black Bear Yurt is unlike any place you have stayed with spectacular panoramic views of the iconic blue water of Bear Lake. These custom yurts are the largest yurts made in North America at 40 feet in diameter and twenty feet high, space is abundant. The yurts include fully equipped kitchens, laundry, two private toilets, a large walk-in shower, two separate bedrooms, a children's play loft/extra sleeping area, opening/closing windows, and an entertainment center for family movies. Enjoy sitting by the fire during cold nights while you watch the stars from the dome sky light above. Oso Blu is the most unique and enjoyable family experience in Bear Lake. The Cisco yurt has a swamp cooler to keep you cool in the heat and heaters to keep you warm in the evenings and cool shoulder seasons at Bear Lake.
There is no other property like this in the Bear Lake area. You will have access to all private gated areas with plenty of room for you and your guests to spread out. Take a short walk up a meandering path to the gathering platform where you can watch the sunrise, sunsets, or star gaze around a fire in peaceful tranquility.
The Black Bearyurt has plenty of space for your guests to spread out- 2 large bedrooms and a sleeping loft make your stay comfortable for 7 guests if each person needs their own bed with all bedding provided, but up to 12 can fit very comfortably. Bedroom #1 King Bed with a full over full bunk bed tucked away in the corner. Bedroom #2 Queen Bed with a full over full bunk bed tucked away in the corner Bedroom #3 Loft- 1 full bunk bed provided with all bedding, and you can bring sleeping bags and put the older kids up there!

Perfect quick getaway

This was the perfect stay for me and my family! It had plenty of room for us to relax and enjoy our getaway. It also had a fun area for us to grill, and play backyard games. We brought our dogs and they enjoyed it as well!

Amazing stay!

This property was amazing! Maybe the cleanest vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in! We had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable! Beautiful view! We loved using the fire pit and outdoor patio and games provided. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Glamping at it's best!

The yurts were very fun. My grandkids really enjoyed the loft. It rained 2 of the 4 days we were there. Gave the kids a chance to go to the cave. Apparently the museum closes when it rains too. I quite enjoyed the day at the yurt. My favorite part was the rain falling on the canvas, soo peaceful and soothing. The yurt had all the luxeries of home! We will be back!

Great and unique

We found the property online while researching a trip to Bear Lake. We fell in love with the idea of staying in such a unique property. Everything was great - communication with the owner, getting access to the property, check-in and check-out. The views were incredible, the yurt was clean and the sleeping arrangements perfect. We definitely recommend it and want to come back. We had 12 people and everyone had space and somewhere great to sleep. Thanks!

UEA Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at the yurts. They are beautiful and we loved the bedding/sheets! The only things that would have made this better is letting us know exactly what they have and don't? Could you stock with tin foil? Large Broom and bigger cooking pans are our only recommendations! Thank you for being dog friendly -makes our travels so much more enjoyable when we can bring them! Melissa was easy to communicate with!
