Lovely stone townhouse in Llanbedr, perfect for friends or a family, and their dogs, to explore the majestic Welsh coastline and countryside. Walk down to the beach (1.5 miles), up to the waterfalls (2 miles) and choose from three pubs or the shop for a tasty lunch when back in the village. Explore picturesque Harlech (3 miles) with its internationally renowned links golf course, and the designated UNESCO World Heritage Site of Harlech Castle. For keen cyclists, the Coed y Brenin Mountain Biking Centre (8 miles) is also nearby. Visit the Italianate village of Portmeirion (7 miles), made famous as the location for 60s TV show The Prisoner. Head to bustling Barmouth (7 miles) with its museum, harbour shops, restaurants and pubs. From here, take the water taxi over to the miniature steam train at Fairbourne.

Beware… lots of stairs. No outside area.
Good sized rooms, clean and bland, kitchen equipment ok.NO FREEZER! no ice!! 😡 polyester bedding,! risky transporting bags and cases (not to mention dogs) from car park round the back,along the extremely busy main road and through the front door, we booked for 4 nights but left a day early due to polyester purgatory!
