Friendly staff , excellent buffet breakfast and dining area, very easy for free parking , lovely house. Stairs. Within walking distance to old town but also easy drive into town for hourly parking if wanted. Easy access by car to other sites in Slovenia

Excellent place for short term. Common use bathrooms outside rooms with squeaky doors awkward in the middle of the night. Neighbours need to pick up after their dogs so tennis don't step in the mess!

Cute place

I felt like this experience gave a glimpse into maybe how locals live. It was a very good size place to stay. The breakfast was my favorite one after being in Europe almost 3 weeks. Crepes- yum! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was a charming place and I’m glad we stayed there! Nice to have parking taken care of too.

Great stay

Great little studio. Spotless and very comfortable, air conditioned. Great breakfast. Limited parking in the apartment complex, so we were asked to park on the street just outside the apartments and the hosts paid the parking charges. 1 less star only due to the hot water availability. After a 5 min shower, there was hardly any hot water left for the next person to shower.

Middle class hotel not far from Ljubljana downtown

Town villa transformed to an appartment hotel around 15 minutes walk form Ljubljana downtown, quiet area, easy access from the motorway. We stayed 2 nights in a double bed studio Velika Planina, just OK for a short stay for 2 persons. Hotel is clean, good buffet breakfast served between 8-9:30. Small kitchen in the studio equipped for preparation of basic meals, not for any bigger cooking. Communication before our arrival was perfect. Staff very helpful during the stay, we had an early morning departure from the hotel and they have provided us a generous breakfast pack the evening before. Onsite parking for 6 cars. If it´s full the hotel will cover costs of paid parking lots on the Teslova street at the hotel.

The apartment was very clean and well layed out. Unfortunately, we had a few problems though. The wifi did not work, the hot water went cold after one short shower before, one stove burner did not work and the other sparked and tripped the breaker after cooking. They allow smokers to smoke at the outside front entrance which permeates into the apartment we stayed in. Hopefully those problems will be fixed because it would have been a nice place to stay.

Disappointed with location

A okay,plain room, and a very good breakfast. We chose it in part because it offered free parking. The one disappointment is that it was quite a ways from the old city. In fact we set out to walk into the old city and then, because it got dark, turned back without ever getting to the main section of Old Town.

We came to Slovenia for three days. The B and B did find us a free parking space on day 2. Fortunately we arrived on a Saturday night and so there were no fines. However, the street was clearly marked .4 euro per hour M-Sat, 7 am -10 pm, so beware. Room was good but could not take two short showers on one tank of the hot water. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful.

Friendly and cozy B&B

The receptionist Ana gave me a great welcome. The place was cozy enough. The breakfast could be improved with more green leaves with more egg options, and tried to be more flexible, for example, we arrived at 9:18 and requested more scramble eggs since it was empty in the steamer. The lady asked us to have the hard boiled ones instead, since the breakfast would finish at 9:30.

Economical in residential area

Just about a 10min walk to old town area. Friendly staff. Breakfast room was cozy. Breakfast was typical European. If you are traveling from the United States be aware that your water heater is located in the bathroom and hot water is limited. My husband drained ours on his shower leaving me with a like warm one after waiting 20min for warm water to heat... parking is in the street and you have to pay for it from 0700-1700. It was .40 Euro cents an hour.

You should stay here!
