The room was nice and clean; the owner seemed a little put out at first because Expedia had overbooked us and she didn’t seem to happy. When we asked her about coffee in the morning she looked at us like we’d lost our mind! It all turned out fine and she had coffee for us in the morning for a small charge. The hotel is beautiful and I wonder what the spa services would be like. We weren’t given any options to utilize them.

I booked 3-4 weeks in advance of my stay. On arrival, it was a building site, with scaffolding and hydraulic hoists out the front. It appeared as if they were not expecting me, as they asked me when I had booked, and for how long I intended to stay etc. Because of the building work, the air conditioning was not working, but worst of all was that every day from 0800-1900 there were workmen 1 foot from my window, using hammers, saws, drills and a chain saw, as they rebuilt the roof and facade. Chippings and dust were being blown into my room. The manager was very attentive, but nothing could make up for this situation. She insisted I pay in cash because apparently the card machine wasn't working because of Coronavurus. I am sure it was a terrible mistake, and I'm sure my booking should not have been taken, but it was, and no attempt was made to mitigate the disruption to me. As unpaid my bill, the manager apologised for the building work, but said perhaps it was ok as I had only stayed 2 days. I imagine it's a lovely place in ordinary circumstances.

This was a last minute reservation (made through Expedia) for only one night as we arrived in Ljubljana a day early for a hospitality industry conference. Nina (the co- owner) greeted us and took the time to explain (and make suggestions) the hotel and the area. The property is beautiful, the rooms/apartments are clean and well equipped. I would be happy to return for a longer stay.

Modern Apartment in Ljubljana

Nina was super helpful when we checked into the apartment. We wish we would have had more time here since we really were very comfortable. A 2 bedroom/2 bathroom with full kitchen. Everything was very modern, parking easy and available. The only negative for some people would be that it was about 2-3 miles from the downtown area. We had to take a taxi, which cost only 6 Euros. But this is not in walking distance in case some one was hoping for that. It was so comfortable there!

Cosy stay in a quiet neighbourhood.

We stayed here for a wedding that was in the neighbourhood. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Didn't take the breakfast option as we had a s/c apartment, there's a shop close by for supplies. Hotel is a bus or taxi ride from the centre and is in a very quiet neighbourhood. An extremely warm welcome from the staff, they were very helpful and attentive.

over night stay ,nice guest house ,very clean,good rooms with up market fittings ,parking out side plentyful,3to4 miles out from city centre ,,,need a car or its taxi,s ..only fault was the breakfast was poor ,,,after 28day tour of Europe this was the worst breakfast .not worth 8euro,s per person ..other wise 80euros a night not to bad

A keeper

A beautiful hotel with a comfortable room (we had a double room) and a lovely large bathroom. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Please note though that everything extra, like bus station transfers, coffee and tea and breakfast will cost you extra. Nice quiet neighbourhood for a good night's sleep but you will need to take a bus to town and all other sights.

Good service for cheap price

To start with, overall impression of the hotel is very nice indeed. Service in the hotel is definitely first-class, possibly it is that they can tend to customer needs better having a smaller hotel. Hotel personnel speak very good english on average so there are no problems in conversing. I ve travelled in many countries and seen many hotels and my impression is that you rarely get such friendly service. Rooms were clean and cleaning worked well. I didnt take breakfast although offered as these are apartment type rooms and you can cook your own meal if you like. On the minus side, it is slightly off from the city center so you need to take a bus. But then, in the day time buses go every 10 minutes and bus stop is kinda near to hotel. Another thing is, there was a wierd smell in the bathroom that I didnt like and didnt know what it was. And noteworthy thing is that you should tell your preferred payment method when you arrive. To sum up, this hotel is a very good choice for a traveller who is looking for cheap hotel and doesnt mind being a little off from the city center. Rooms are not 5 star but then for its price hotel is a very good choice.

Zauberhaftes Hotel am Stadtrand

Ein kleines aber feines Hotel am Stadtrand von Ljubljana, nicht weit von der Ring-Autobahn entfernt. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich eine Busstation ins Zentrum. Minka und ihre Crew sind sehr freundlich und bemüht. Das Frühstück ist empfehlenswert.
