The breakfast was terrible, i dont think they know how to cook an omelet, asked about changing it and it come back with 2 sausages on the plate when i never asked for them and also i dont eat pork.

This is more of a two star hotel. I had been booked in under the wrong name. Room 100 was a little cramped. In the room there was a little table and one chair not two. The exterior base of the shower had mold Some of the shower tile grouting had patches of mold.For a four star hotel there was not any free bottled water it had to be bought. The pillows were basic and not very comfortable.The hotel internet page shows a bar serving cocktails with a cocktail menu We were told that the staff were not serving cocktails and the bar closed at 2030 Breakfast we ordered a full English We were asked how we would like our eggs. When the meal arrived there were not any eggs at all.In the restaurant we were sat at a table near a table with breakfast items and a hot coffee machine. There was a large loosely coiled electric cable connecting the machine. My wife's chair got caught on the cable and nearly pulled the hot coffee machine over. The wall appeared to be a stud wall and a proper socket outlet could have been easily installed. Would I stay again...no

A very pleasant stay in a charming and comfortable hotel. Intimate but ultimately fully usable cardio gym and pool area. Couldn’t ask for more. Really nice breakfast too.

Disappointing, over priced.

This village hotel is ‘tired’. My room was comfortable but noisy. I could hear next door bath rooms and voices both sides, doors banging both sides. Staff could have been more welcoming, appeared rushed, no mention of “have you enjoyed your stay with us?” on checkout. Breakfast is very mediocre - coffee was so weak, not hot - from a machine that looked 30 years old! Very basic continental breakfast - hot breakfast choice was good. Eggs florentine weren't hot though - served on very soggy bread rolls - didn’t go to breakfast second morning- coffee in the room was better! Very disappointed and overpriced in my opinion.

Lovely oak panelled hotel, friendly and helpful staff made our stay (thanks Emma!) Good room, decent bar and good breakfasts! Decent on site parking too!

Furniture all needs replacing as much of it is damaged and dated. TV remote was supposed to be universal but did not work, and looked like it was from 2006. The bedroom and bathroom both had mould, and the shower was very slippy with no mat which caused me to almost slip and injure myself. The wardrobe provided was far too small to hang a suit and dress, and the hangers were attached so you had to climb in to use them - poor considering they advertise as a wedding venue. The windows did not lock properly and the lights would blink when turned on. Hairdryer attached to the wall was also poor, and the walls were very thin. Very overpriced, have stayed in nicer premier inns and would definitely avoid staying in this place.

A relaxing stay

Breakfast was very good with a choice of cereals, croissants, fruit juice and a cooked breakfast which was cooked to order. The entrance and exit to the hotel is very narrow so be careful. The swimming pool is about 12m long but is 2.5m at the deep end.
