Cute apartment in a vibrant neighbourhood

Our stay here was really nice! The communication was amazing, they were really friendly and we could ask all of our questions. Our arrival was smooth (a little bit of a delay with the cleaning but this was no problem for us and they let us know in advance). They provided loads of recommendations (restaurants, things to do, how to get from the airport to the apartment, …), which was very helpful. The apartment is small but cozy, with lots of windows so that’s very nice. The kitchen is very small and lacks some utensils (no kitchen towels so we couldn’t do the dishes) and therefore we didn’t really use it to cook. Luckily the neighbourhood has amazing restaurants and bars with lovely food, we didn’t miss the kitchen!! Would definitely stay here again with friends!

Great location, helpful hosts

Simple, clean, functional, great location. It wasn't clear from the listing that the bathroom could only be accessed through one of the bedrooms and that would have been good to know in advance. The hosts were very helpful in accommodating our early check-in needs and providing useful local information.

The location was good, property managers were excellent

Unfortunately I had to leave after two nights. The managers were very helpful - answering emails very promptly and arranged a taxi for my drparture, even emailing to say the taxi was on its way. Thank you so much!!

Stay before joining a group tour

We liked the location because it was close in walking distance to some sights we wanted to see. A wee bit noisy to around 2pm due to a bit of partying in the neighborhood. The3 very steep staircases in the house ought to be mentioned in the description. Also having to walk trough someones bedroom to go to the bathroom at night was a wee bit awkward.

Excellent Location to experience the old part of the city!!

The only real criticism I have is the one and only bathroom. It's position on the top floor is inside the bedroom. It's ...specific... location is not made clear in the listing, but there are references made in the reviews if you read them. This is not the ideal apartment for two couples however it may suit a family fine. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE WITH FANTASTIC HOSTS! Great overall stay experience.!!!

Good Location

This property was in a good location. The woman was very helpful and met our friends at the door where she shared a lot of good information about sights and restaurants. The bathroom situation was not ideal as you had to go through a bedroom to get to it. We were in Lisbon in September and it was quite hot, the fans here were not that effective in cooling the place down. I would still recommend this property as it was in a good location and was good value for the money.

The beds were comfortable. The location was good but a bit noisy. You can’t stand up in the bathroom, the kitchen smelled like sewer and the couch (in the picture) was too uncomfortable to sit for long.

Great stay

The apartment was very cute. Location was great, close walking distance to many of the city’s attractions. The hostess is very welcoming and offered a lot of advice as to where to go. Kitchen is very minimalistic.

Nuno’s place is conveniently located in a safe and vibrant neighborhood which opens travelers to numerous opportunities to explore Lisbon. Very pleased with the apartment and the property manager who made several suggestions for things to see or do.

Great location

The apartment is in a fantastic location, however the bathroom is practically in the upstairs bedroom & the doors/steps are noisy. Just good things to know when booking, and we did enjoy our stay here. Great location & clean apartment.

Good stay in Bairro Alto

Property worked fine as a base to discover the central Lisbon area so we didn’t actually spend much time indoors! Weather could have been kinder for Late June but it didn’t stop us walking everywhere except one ride on the No. 28 tram! Apartment was basic but clean in a good location for what we needed,’.

Ideal location and best hoast in Portugal.

Even though we were in an area filled with restaurants and clubs, this apartment was quiet as it was located right next to a small private hospital. The location was perfect. You could walk to all of the historical monuments, museums and viewpoints. Good restaurants and nice were all just a short walk away. Nuno was amazing and responsive. He helped us with luggage and he got us situated in a downstairs flat while we waited for ours to be cleaned. We arrived at 8 am which was way to early but still we were made welcome. This was just amazing and truly unforgettable. We travel often and Nuno is the best hoast we have ever encountered. The one thing we wish could have been a bit better is the shower, but we realize that in A small space you have to make the best of what you have. Thank you Nuno for everything you are a special person.

Nice property, quiet location

Very nice and cozy flat right into the centre of the old town, close to city's most famous landmarks.Nuno was very nice and welcoming, gave us lots of precious information. Lots of places to eat and drink, Portuguese cuisine is one of the best , Portuguese people very friendly and almost everybody speaks English, though I think it is rude not to try to speak the language of the country you are visiting, or at least some frases. Listening to Fado is something not to be missed.

great location and nice apartment ideal for a short stay.

Nuno and Catia were very helpful and gave us really useful information of how to get around, the sink developed a leak and they organised someone to repair it straight away which is no mean feat between Christmas and new year. the apartment probably not ideal for anybody not very mobile as two flights of narrow stairs up to the apartment and some of the ceilings are low in places on the top floor so if very tall may be an issue but not really a problem. lots of restaurants close by the fado music is worth a listen and there are a couple of restaurants close by that play whilst you eat. The highlight of our trip was a day to Sintra which is about 40 mins on the train it was easy to find and the fare very cheap and is an incredible place. Nuno recommended going in the week rather than the weekend as it gets very busy. We are glad we took his advise. Overall we had a great stay and the apartment more than suited our needs. PS--- Don`t wear high heels th city is completely cobbled and very hilly so advise sensible boots/shoes with some ankle support.

Ideal location!!

The location and apartment was everything we thought we'd be getting. The host, Nuno, let us check in early so we could start our adventures in Lisbon. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Nuno and Catia who were extremely helpful with tips on cool and interesting places to check out (restaurants, historical sights, etc). This is on a quiet street just about 2 streets over from some fun nightlife. Overall, the apartment was just what we needed for a couple of nights in Lisbon. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and would stay here in the future.

Great apartment in Barrio Alto

We stayed 4 nights here in Oct 2018 (my husband and myself). It was a great location and the apartment is very nice. Catia and Nuno are great hosts. Catia shared great information about the neighborhood, and getting around Lisbon. The apt is close to Metro, the funicular and Tram 28 line(which was packed all the time). We used the metro and walked a lot of the city. The street is quiet, which is nice, but a great neighborhood with plenty of good restaurants and bars. We ate in our neighborhood every night-great food! Good pastry cafes also, though the hosts kindly left coffee and water at the apartment. Also toiletries, which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this apartment if you are in Lisbon!

Great apartment in fantastic location

We stayed in this apartment for 5 days and loved it. The apartment had everything we needed. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We arrived later than we thought but that was not a problem and there was flexibility with check out time which was great. The apartment was in a fantastic location, so close to lots of bars and restaurants and an easy walk to other parts of Lisbon or the metro or tram stop. We loved Lisbon and want to go back. It is a really accessible city with lots to do and see. Highly recommended.

Nice breezy 3rd floor, great location at the top of Barrio Alto. Catia is a great help.

If you enjoy walking this is a top spot. Euro-cozy but enough room to chill out. Catia is a walking resource for cool bars, and grocery stores, whatever. She's great.

Leiligheten anbefales med tanke på beliggenhet og verten. Vi var så heldige å få innsjekking med Nuno og han satt seg ned med oss og gav oss mange gode tips. En fantastisk mann og vert! Likevel må det nevnes at badet lå i annen etg og man måtte igjennom soverom to for å komme seg på badet..
