Staying at the Spa Nook Cozy Cottage was a TREAT!!! The house is lovely! We were welcomed with fresh picked flowers and complimentary beverages. The owners had thought of everything from comfort and luxury to thoughtful check-in and check-out considerations. My husband were thrilled to stay in a beautiful house, surrounded by lush green landscaping. We walked outside and the river is literally right there. We ate dinner at Old Hampton's Store and had amazing food! Get there before 5pm if you want the banana pudding (you want the banana pudding). We walked around the area and were warmly greeted by the locals. We had breakfast at the Tartan Restaurant. I highly recommend the lemon blueberry pancakes with lemon curd, blueberry sauce and a lemon cream syrup. Yum! We feel so rejuvenated and rested from our stay. The bedding was heavenly and the throw blankets are the best quality I have ever used. We will book here again and next time, we will book early enough to also get the massage services they offer right there in the house. We are looking forward to returning and highly recommend this place to others for a great stay in Linville. Thank you George and Mitzi for hosting us.
