The main hotel was beautiful and comfortable - we switched to rooms there after discovering that the suites (which are in a separate building) didn't have elevators. The receptionists were super helpful and responsive, and it made for a wonderful stay. The restaurant/bar was delicious and the servers were all amazing.

Below average stay.

Arrived at hotel 2 hours after check in time, and suite was not ready. Got our suite at 6pm when we went in ans checked it out, the window would not close and there was heavy draft. Complained and got moved to a lower suite next to the laundry room. Noisy during the day but ok as I was at work. Rooms outdated and front door does not lock in the suites so slights safety concern. Food in the bar was very average and well below many other properties I stayed in while working in limerick for 9 months. The pleasure centre is well outdated and old. Black Mould in all of the men’s showers which to me should be a priority to get cleaned. Would I stay here again, no, far better options and prices around limerick.

Glad to be a Silver Member. Received free breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with the suite that was very spacious. It had a fridge and air conditioner (which many Ireland hotels don't have), and full kitchenette. We wish we could have stayed long enough to enjoy the hotel more. Feedback...when we first pulled off road into driveway...we could not see any signage that indicated where the front of the hotel was, along with the check-in desk. Instead...we went into first parking lot area and saw a dirty receiving dock along with garbage and linen area. Better signage might help with directions and give a better first impression.

Nice basic hotel

Nice hotel With lovely staff, but "luxury suites" we're lacking the luxury. Bed was large but there was a gap between even though was supposed to be a king bed and other side was really worn (sank in the middle where people have been sleeping). Not many tv channels but use of Netflix. I would definitely take a room at the hotel next time if coming back. Suite was spacious and had a fridge and a microwave so handy for someone with small children but you need to cross a road to get to the hotel. Breakfast was very average.

Quiet, comfortable stay in classy Castletroy Suite

I had a lovely 2-night stay in one of the beautiful Castletroy Hotel suites. Very quiet & comfortable suite which contributed to sleeping soundly. Kitchenette well stocked with coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, etc. would highly recommend.

Castletroy Park hotel

We stayed last year and the biggest problem then was the bar and food service. Only one poor young fellow behind the bar trying to keep over 100 guests served. If anything that has gone worse. Same problem, packed to overfloing bar area, have to wait ages for a drink & to order food We went to a concert at UL & came back for a drink in the bar, same poor young fellow, same problem. I went up for our last drink at 11.31 only to be told bar closes at 11.30, no more drinks will be served, even for residents. In 50 years staying hoted have never encountered this draconian rule. Needless to say once bitten, careless, twice bitten my stupid. We won't be coming here again

We stayed in the suites for a hen party. The rooms were so spacious and really comfortable. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. They went above and beyond for us and made the weekend so easy for us. Would definitely recommend!
