Bohemian art palace

We stayed in the apartment with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and two balconies with incredible views of the surf and coastline. The artwork of Victor Delfin is incredible. The staff is so friendly and helpful in every way. The bohemian Barranco neighborhood is the best in Lima. Highly recommended!!

A former artist studio and home converted into a hotel. Has a spectacular ocean view, super-clean, friendly staff, great breakfast (it's more substantial than "continental" fare), comfortable rooms, and a space so inviting we were tempted to forego sightseeing and just stay at the hotel all day. They offer rides to/from airport (for an additional, reasonable fee). Very much for those more interested in perusing the fascinating art collection, quirky interior design, and unique grounds than having a conventional hotel experience. Felt like I was going back in time 100 years—in a good way!

A gem of a BnB in the fantastic neighborhood. Super close to the Malecon for wonderful sunset walks! Just out of Miraflores which softens the crush of the city. It was a wonderful art filled sanctuary with fantastic views and the most helpful staff. An absolutely amazing place!

This spot is very unique. It’s a very old building with a lot of charm. The art is amazing and the views can’t be beat. There are charming yard sculptures everywhere. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful.The room was huge and well appointed. Best Pisco sour of my trip at the bar.

The room, location, price, and art on the property was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel but would not rely on the continental breakfast (plenty of nearby cafes). Coffee was bad. Service was responsive when requested but sort of absent otherwise. Overall, the room (including patio) and view made the stay fantastic.

A beautiful stay at Second Home, with spectacular views of the coastline, central to cafes, restaurants and tourist spots in the area. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. My Peruvian Home

I will certainly return when I come back to Peru. The ocean view was spectacular, comfy bed, luxurious bath. The vibe was very romantic, full of beautiful artwork & sculptures all around topped off with incredible service from the entire staff. I had my 1st pisco sour here & I truly felt at Home!

Oasis of art and nature facing ocean in Barranco

The place is absolutely unique. The ocean view is breath taking, the garden is filled with sculptures, the rooms are large and renovated. Given it is an old house, the noise can travel well from one room to the other, but a 10pm curfew seems respected. Breakfast is very good and cooked for you (eggs, bacon, cheese, fresh fruit and juice). The mattresses would benefit from being replaced. The art pieces and the presence of the artist studio (Victor Delfin) make it a destination of choice. The house is close to all the attractions of the Barranco neighborhood and is an oasis of nature in Lima.

Gorgeous and wonderful stay.

Amazing, huge apartment space - 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies, and gorgeous ocean views. (Be aware there are irregular stairs in the apartment - for us it was no problem at all.) Hot water and heaters. Gorgeous art. Excellent breakfast - made to order eggs, bacon, cheese, fresh bread, coffee/tea, and fresh fruit. Highly recommend!

This is an one of a kind property. If you are looking for a unique quirky place to stay in Lima on a cul de sac overlooking the ocean full of art and sculpture, I highly recommend this place. The view of the ocean was amazing. The only disappointment was that Lima has an oceanfront highway all along the coast so you hear the waves and the traffic. But as long as you know that, it's a great place. Barranco neighborhood is full of cafes and nice little restaurants, but pretty low key compared with Miraflores, which I liked.
