This hotel in my mind is average. Cleaness is average but definetly not as in the photos (the photos were possibly took when the rooms are new renovation). Fresh air? Don't expect fresh air, as many hotel guests or people nearby are smoking. Since this hotel is not entirely smoke-free, you'll have to settle for air tinged with the smell of cigarettes. For the location, it locates close to the north gate of Lijiang Ancient City and walking distance approximately 8-10 minutes. Quite a lot of restaurants near by the hotel and also the way walk to the Ancient City. Front desk staff is frendly and willing to help. But don't expect they speak English (or you may need to bring a smart phone with voice translation app for a help if you don't speak Mandarine) This hotel could be your consideration if you are a smoker (or can stick with the air with smoke) and also you have have tight budget for travelling in LiJiang because of the room rate is quite low (less than US$15/night when the days we stayed).
