The Space:

Step through the front door and you’re straight into the bright, open-plan living and dining space — perfect for putting your feet up after a busy day, enjoying dinner or settling in for a lazy evening. Just off the living area is a compact galley kitchen, fully equipped with all the essentials for everything from your morning coffee to a proper home-cooked meal.



Head upstairs and you’ll find a surprisingly spacious double bedroom with a comfy bed ready for a good night’s sleep, along with a fresh family bathroom.



The house is clean, comfortable and easy to settle into, with readily avaialble Wi-Fi to keep you connected and shops and everyday essentials conveniently nearby. Whether you’re visiting for a weekend, travelling for work or making yourself at home for a few weeks, it’s a great little base to come back to at the end of the day.

Once your reservation is confirmed, the Smarter Rent team will ask for a few additional guest details, including a copy of your ID, and for you to sign our Smarter Rent Agreement covering the house rules. We’ve introduced these simple processes over time to help us maintain a great standard across our homes and make sure every guest has a smooth and enjoyable stay.

The Neighborhood:

There’s plenty to keep you busy around Lightwater, especially if you love getting outdoors. Right on your doorstep is Lightwater Country Park, with 59 hectares of heathland, woodland, meadows and ponds to explore. Pack your walking shoes, bring the dog or simply wander up to High Curley for some lovely views. There’s also a children’s playground, café, fishing and even an 18-hole adventure golf course if you’re feeling competitive.



For an even bigger dose of fresh air, Chobham Common is nearby and is one of the largest National Nature Reserves in the south-east of England. It’s a beautiful spot for long walks, wildlife spotting and escaping into the Surrey countryside for a few hours.



If you fancy swapping walking boots for shopping bags, Camberley is within easy reach and has plenty of shops, cafés, restaurants and entertainment. The surrounding villages of Bagshot, Windlesham and Chobham are also worth exploring if you fancy a pub lunch or a leisurely afternoon out.



For a bigger day trip, you’re well placed for some of the area’s best-known attractions. Thorpe Park is within easy reach for rollercoasters and thrills, while LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort makes a brilliant day out if you’re travelling with younger adventurers.



Whether you fancy country walks, family adventures, shopping or simply finding a good pub and settling in for lunch, Lightwater gives you plenty of options for filling your days.



Getting Around:

Getting around from Lightwater is straightforward, whether you’re travelling locally or planning a day further afield.



The nearest railway station is Bagshot, around 1.4 miles (2.3 km) from the property. From Bagshot, trains run towards Ascot, where you can connect for services towards London Waterloo, as well as travelling in the opposite direction towards Camberley and Guildford.



Brookwood station is another useful option, around 3.4 miles away, particularly if you’re heading towards London Waterloo or travelling towards Woking and Guildford. Camberley station is also just over 3 miles away, giving you a few different choices depending on where your day takes you.



If you prefer the bus, you won’t have far to walk. There are several stops close to the property, including Osborne Drive, Briar Avenue and Lightwater Road, with the closest just over 100 metres away.



Lightwater is also well positioned for getting around by car, with easy access to the surrounding Surrey towns and villages. So whether you’re commuting, exploring the countryside or heading into London for the day, you’ve got plenty of options for getting out and about.
