This sympathetically restored Yorkshire stone built cottage, originally part of the old memorial hall, sits proud within the pretty village of Preston under Scar, featuring exposed beams and wood burning stove, you can sit back and relax whilst on holiday in the middle of the North Yorkshire Dales.

Sleeping up to four guests in two delightful en-suite bedrooms, this cottage really does have a home from home feel as soon as you enter into the cosy sitting room with two large comfy sofas, imposing fireplace with wood burning stove and original floor boards. The welcoming, refurbished country kitchen will inspire you to cook up a feast to be enjoyed at the oak dining table or alternatively take it outside onto the pretty patio area where you can listen to the birds whilst dining alfresco. Retiring upstairs in this peaceful cottage will not disappoint, both tastefully decorated bedrooms have the added benefit of their own en-suites, with the master bedroom featuring a super-king size zip and link bed which can be configured as two 3'single beds on request.

Middehus is perfectly situated for family or friends who want to take full advantage of all that North Yorkshire and Wensleydale and its rich cultural heritage have to offer. Bordering the Yorkshire Dales National Park known for its dark skies and limestone scenery, everyday will be one to remember whist staying in this charming cottage.

There are some steep steps leading up to the front entrance of the property, however the rear entrance can be accessed with more ease.
Up to two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). Please restrict your dog inside the property to the ground floor only.

Private parking for one car is provided under the windows at the front of the property with additional free parking on the roadside in the village.
