Moon Palace Cancun - All-Inclusive
"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a swim-up suite. Having direct pool access was wonderful, although the room itself was much smaller than we expected. The dining options were excellent, and making restaurant reservations through the app was easy. The flow-rides (surfing facility) was great for kids! The only downside we anticipated before arriving was the seaweed. Unfortunately, it had a noticeable odor, so we were not able to spend any time at the beach. There were a few areas where the resort could improve. The check-in and room key activation process was confusing, requiring us to go back and forth between different locations. We also tried to use the VIP Access late checkout benefit, but were told our room had already been assigned to another guest. A 1:00 p.m. checkout was available, but to extend it by one additional hour we would have had to return to the check-in desk again later so we decided not to bother. The resort credit program was also confusing, and we ended up not using it. After check-in, we were assigned a representative who explained the Moon Palace Grand tour and timeshare, which included breakfast and activities. We declined, and they accepted our decision without any pressure, which we appreciated it."
