The Old House & Guest House - Collection Villas

A complex of two stone made houses being built the 1870 by a well-known family of Pigadissani and restored by the owners, both architects, to a very elegant & comfortable accommodation for families wanting to relax and experience a real holiday.
Exposed beams, stone - flagged floors, antique brass beds and antique furnishing from the 1870 - 1940 from the town of Lefkada and the village of Pigadissani, colourful hand made rugs, give a character of a refined country house. A large verandah, with a central mulberry tree and a built - in barbecue to the side, provides attractive sitting and dining areas with spectacular views across the surrounding countryside.

The guest house is located beside the pool terrace.

Open plan sitting room with fire-place,dining area and kitchen with breakfast bar, leading to verandah; utility/shower room with washing machine; open wooden stairs to upper floor with sitting hall to one double bedroom and two twin bedded rooms; large bathroom with bath. The guest house has one two-bedded room; kitchenette & bathroom with jacuzzi bath.

Prices are in euros per week including all taxes, cleaning and linen (once a week, included changeover day), pool cleaning, gardening, and internet.

Family of 5 (aug 2025). This could be a fantastic property, and I think it was in the past but unfortunately, it’s been unloved for a long long time I would say that some of the photos are from several years ago The outside area is very overgrown and neglected, weeds in the cracking patio, trees so overgrown you can’t see the views and more importantly they block the sun out for most of the day You do get sun around 1pm (mid-August) then it becomes shade around 3pm. The flower beds are full of old leaves, rubbish, and weeds not as attractive as the old photos show. The two benches that you have are both broken (wood slats falling off or snapped) and you can’t sit on them. pizza oven has big cracks and broken concrete plus the metal door is jammed shut (I think it’s holding it together) the bbq is very old , rusty and has broken legs ( note no bbq tools) the pool is very old and due to overgrown trees is full of leaves, figs and olives ( the pool guy came every 2 days and did a great job but the filter can’t cope) Inside the villa was very clean but very musty None of the shutters closed well enough to block out sunlightGetting to villa, It’s done a very steep and very narrow twisting road that the locals use to park in very awkward spots The neighbor above the villa has a dog that likes to bark a lot and very early in the morning Below the villa there is a new building and another in constructionIt just needs a lot of love again! Not currently worth the price charged
