Another lower than expected stay when using hotels.com. The value does not reconcile to the experience, location and satisfaction. This property was one of three former residential. Thankfully it was one of three and the others were empty because on arrival the door to the property had leaves and debris that looked like it had been stored for sometime. The bedroom handle in this one bedroom bungalow was broken and prevented access to this area. The host was receptive and arranged access to the other property which was a little bigger. The condition of the property we stayed in would do well to have a health check on things like light switches and sockets working intermittently and not at all. Sky box in property but no remote. The location proved difficult for a local takeaway to find and they are 4 mins away. The host was pleasant but the property is over priced to represent good value. It served it’s purpose to break up the journey.
