DO NOT trust the pictures or anything they have stated on their website. This place was WORSE than a motel 6. My husband found mold on the bathroom curtain, there were fresh stains on the bed and the room overall was a health hazard. The older male on staff was extremely rude throughout the whole process even while checking us in. He threatened to call the police on us when we requested to switch to a clean room, so we had to call them ourselves for our safety. Overall 0/10 would choose sleeping in my car over staying here.

Date: November 21, 2025 To Whom It Does Concern: I am submitting this as a formal complaint under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III, against Castle Inn & Suites / OYO Hotels, Lawton, OK, for severe discrimination and violations related to my federally protected service dog, my medical records, and my status as a disabled guest. 1. Legal Basis (Service Animal / ADA Violations) According to 28 C.F.R. § 36.302(c)(7): > “A public accommodation shall not require documentation, such as proof that the animal has been certified, trained, or licensed as a service animal, as a condition for entry.” By requesting, obtaining, and retaining my private doctor’s notes, and by photographing or copying them, the hotel has violated this regulation. The ADA’s official guidance (via DOJ) states: > “Covered entities may not require … a doctor’s note, for a service animal.” (ada.gov) Hotels cannot charge pet fees or deposits for service animals; service dogs are not “pets.” (I was charged or threatened with a $20 fee.) The only legal questions staff may ask about a service animal are: 1. Is the dog required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? 2. Discriminatory Conduct During My Stay On November 21, 2025, I checked in at approximately 6:00–6:30 PM (per hotel records). Upon entry, I told the clerk that my dog is a service animal. He demanded “government certification.” I informed him that no such certification

This property is in shambles, pictures must be from a different moment in time. The bathtub and toilet seat were both peeling, the love seat looked as if it had been though multiple crime scenes (several cuts and discolorations I never even touched it) there were holes in the curtains some covered with electrical tape and several holes in the carpet. Not even going to mention the lobby or pool area.

I didn't have my service animal this time. I was ok i just needed a quiet sleep. I couldn't get the tv on. I guess because i got the short end of the thought pool. But it was a bed and i was tired. Might need to clean the air filter for the A/C. It was fine. Breakfast was accommodating

Equivocated to Stephen King's book, movie. "The Shining" Parking lot is a wreck, stairs had a dangerous metal piece bent out of the frame of the steps. Room was awesome as it used to be Knights Inn. Lobby was very dark, breakfast was 2 choices of cereal, one carafe of coffee, and milk.
