Suuret huoneet ja maittava aamupala satamassa
Kauniillla paikalla satamassa sijaitsevassa hotellissa on hienot näköalat ja herkullinen aamiainen. Huoneissa ei osin ole äänieristystä, joten naapurin puheen kuuli kohtalaisen selvästi. Sänky oli mukava ja huoneessa oli lämmin, vaikka ulkona oli yli 20 pakkasastetta. Alakerran sauna oli rentouttava lisä, ja lämpeni suomalaisittain hyvin 80 asteeseen. Julkinen liikenne ei Lappeenrannassa satamaan kulje, joten keskustaan on käveltävä, mutta kaunein osa kaupunkia on satama ja läheinen linnoitus, joissa kannattaakin kävellä.

Hotelli oli perus keskiverto hotelli. Aiemmin täällä yöpyneenä olin pettynyt, että iltasaunaan ei enää kuulunut höyrysaunaa eikä uima-allasta. Aamiaisella ei myöskään ollut vegaanille hirveästi vaihtoehtoja, ei edes leikkeleitä tai vuustoa leivän päälle.
