Great location from which to explore the beautiful Whidbey Island. Very peaceful- the wildlife in backyard kept us entertained, plus the water view. Lodging very homey and comfortable. Felt like we were staying with family! Would have liked a little more leniency in check in and out times. Also, body wash containers in both showers were empty. Glad we brought soap! Would definitely stay again and recommend!

We loved this place. It was like staying at your grandparents’ cabin for the weekend. Very cozy, tons of games, everything you could ever want in a kitchen, and views u like anything my grandparents EVER had! The location was perfect for visiting downtown Langley and about 30 minutes from Coupeville, which are both extremely charming and packed with wonderful shops, friendly people, and lovely restaurants. Note: If you’ve never visited Whidbey Island before, leave yourself extra time for the ferry on a Friday or Sunday. The line can get backed up to 1-2 hours.

The house is great. The views are amazing. Bed was comfy. The only problem I had was that the breaker for the upstairs outlets and the wifi router kept flipping. First time I called the help desk and learned what to do. 9pm my second night the breaker flipped and wouldn’t stay on. So I had to move bedrooms cause I needed to have my phone charging and next to me at night. I was tired and cranky when I had to do all this so it kind of ruined the second half of my stay.

Beautiful View!

We booked this property for a two night stay in Langley which is the cutest town about 15 minutes away. The house and furniture are outdated and needs to be updated. However, the house is very comfortable and it has all the amenities you would need. We cooked in the kitchen both nights but the pots and pans really need to be replaced. The views are spectacular and we got to experience a beautiful sunset. Overall, this is a comfortable place to stay but do not expect modern and new appliances/furniture.

This is the 4th time we've stayed at this property. The view of the Saratoga Pass from the backyard is unbelievable and very peaceful. Sunsets are amazing. We will definitely stay there again. This part of the Island is our favorite, just a short drive from the ferry dock in Langley. Langley is a fun little town to walk around and explore.

Lovely, quiet getaway

We spent a long weekend at Saratoga Lodge in early April 2025. We loved the house and the gorgeous view, the fenced back yard (great for our dog), and the ultimate quiet. The noisiest thing was the furnace, but it worked great, so no complaining. We didn't cook much, but the smallish kitchen seemed well appointed. Kudos for having a knife sharpener. So often rental homes have all dull knives. A couple tips for renters: 1) It's preferred you leave shoes just inside the door, so bring slippers. 2) If you are challenged by stairs and steps, this might not be the house for you. Overall we loved our stay here and would happily return.

Mid-Winter get away

The house was just as it was listed - beautiful on the inside. Lots of space -we enjoyed all the books. We loved the kitchen. We loved the big windows and being able to see the water.

Wonderful, Restorative Place to Pause

We loved staying at Saratoga Lodge. Spacious, clean and comfortable, it was an idyllic home away from home. With fantastic views of the Salish Sea, and a sauna for shedding any last vestiges of stress, it was a great reminder of the value of slowing down, pausing, and being quiet for more than a few minutes between meetings, phone calls or to-do lists. The staff was equally pleasurable to work with, making the check-in and check-out process easy. And they responded really quickly when we had a question. Really, nothing but highly positive experiences in our four days there. We look forward to coming back again.

Amazing home

The house was wonderful. It had everything we needed. The coffee pot was just a little one but we made ot work. There were plenty of towels, blankets and everything you could ever need in the kitchen. The views are stunning.and the sauna was a welcome bonus.

Quiet Getaway

This was a great place to chill out and relax. Langley is a nice little town to explore and the rest of the Island is more or less within an hours drive away. This was a great home base.

Comfortable spot, great view

The property's best feature is the amazing view. The area is nice and the house had lots of books, lamps, kitchen supplies and things to make it comfortable. Vacasa is another story. Very difficult in their correspondence and an unusually early check out time of 10 am. When asking for check out at 11 am, I finally heard back and they offered 2 pm for an extra charge! Rip off. Never was connected to the hosts, just Vacasa reps.
