The Hotel is getting old now, however the rooms were still very clean. It seems like the lobby has gone through renovations recently. The staff were exceptional and all so friendly, I cannot thank them enough. I would rather have stayed here than a $2000 a night hotel somewhere else on the island.

Had an amazing time in Langkawi. The hotel was very nice. The bed was big and very comfortable. breakfast was amazing had lot of options including fruits. staff were kind and friendly. Room got cleaned every morning. The hotel provided bottled of water every morning. The hotel was near the beach and the night market. Thank you for a lovely stay

Lovely friendly welcome by the staff and continued to be super friendly and helpful. Hotel was lovely- pool fantastic an great views too. Breakfast was good with plenty of selection. Room was quite small and compact for 2 people. One of our cases had to lie on the floor and no ‘physical’ wardrobe- just a rail with about 4 hangers on so that was disappointing. Shower was great and didn’t want to get out of it. Food and drink were good- did only eat on the first night but was good. Aside from the size of the room we had a great stay here. Many thanks

The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. The hotel was clean and we loved the pool area. Cenang wasn’t the most picturesque of places but we would recommend this hotel as a base to explore Langkawi.

The hotel was minimalistic and cute. The food was not great, but the cocktails amazing. Very boring view of you get towards the parking, make sure you get the view to the other side. Very helpful staff that cares about your experience. The hotel is a little older than it looks from the pictures.

Lovely stay at the Bayou. Staff are wonderful, so polite and helpful and pool area is gorgeous. Breakfasts are great, lots of choice and it’s conveniently located for Pantai Chenang and Pantai Tangah. Lovely additional touches like movie nights outside while sitting on the pool lounger and free popcorn!

Really enjoyed my stay at Bayou. Staff were amazing. Room was clean with all the facilities (including kettle & iron board for those insane people who like to iron on holidays). Breakfast was great, both western & malay, different options everyday, including omelette station. Walking distance to beaches, restaurants and duty free. Only slight downside was pool is wading only... but that is the only minimal. Would definitely stay here again.

Great three night stay at The Bayou. Staff were polite and helpful with check in. We stayed in the Deluxe Super King which was modern, spacious and clean. The little snacks and drinks vouchers were a lovely touch. Air con worked very well with managing the temperature. The aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful and all areas were well maintained. The pool was a great temperature and we never struggled to find sunbeds. View from pool is lovely, especially during sunrise. The food at breakfast was varied. We also ate from the bar menu each afternoon and food service was available from the pool loungers. Only thing I would like to point out is the gym was very small and only provides cardio equipment, with no weights on offer. Overall a great stay, we would definitely recommend the hotel.

This place is absolutely beautiful! The staff are super friendly and professional! The buffet breakfast was delicious! The bed is the most comfortable bed I had in Malaysia (and I stayed at 8 different places) The sound proofing from outside/ street noise was perfect 👌 Parking is very close to the front door. It's only a 5 minute drive to the busy Cenang beach. Highly recommend this place!!

Breakfast was great! Menu is different for the 3 days we are there and delicious too. Mini bar (snacks) also provided in the room. But room tv was a little not in good condition not sure if it's the remote control (as they changed battery).

Great stay, clean, tidy and comfortable

Very nice hotel, great value for money. Room was super clean and staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Pool area is really nice but the sun does go behind the building late afternoon so best to be there in the morning. Breakfast was a little strange but food was decent. 10 minute walk up to the beach in Langkawi, plenty of food options around also
