This property was perfect for a fall weekend in the Lanesboro area. Just off the main area of town, it was an easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the Root River State Trail. The house has been completely remodeled and is super clean, with high quality finishes and comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well equipped. Our teens enjoyed having their own bedroom / living room area upstairs. The backyard fire pit (with firewood included) was a nice touch and fun extra activity. We biked to Preston and back on the RRST (20 miles round trip) which was beautiful with all the fall color and a fairly easy ride. Check in and check out were very smooth. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in. Beautiful and thoughtfully furnished. Fabulous for biking with convenient bike storage and charging right on the trail. Very responsive host who went above and beyond on a very minor issue. Will return!

This property is amazing! It has a fully stocked kitchen. It is a perfect location. There is a big table for playing games. It met all of our expectations!!The stairs were an issue for some, but we dealt with them. The hosts were fantastic!

Wonderful trip to Lanesboro

Our family stayed in the Lanesboro House and had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our family and dog. So close to biking, tubing, brewery, restaurants, etc. We all decided that we would like to come back next year.

Best location in Lanesboro

You can’t beat this central location in downtown Lanesboro. Walking distance to absolutely everything. Spacious house with several beautiful outdoor seating arrangements. Private parking spaces in back or public spaces in front & across the street from the house made parking convenient. Very updated & modern interior finishes & appliances….and comfy beds too. Hosts Jim & Jill were very communicative. If we ever visit Lanesboro again, we’d book a stay here for sure.

The location is amazing! Less than a block from kayaking/tubing and bike rental places. The place was immaculate and beautiful with everything you need! We had a wonderful time with our family: biking, kayaking, sitting by the fire, watching movies, playing board games, eating out and cooking a meal in a well stocked kitchens. The beds were super comfortable and the showers excellent. Everything was wonderful!

Wonderful home and close to all the activities! Jim and Jill were fantastic hosts, very responsive. We enjoyed the well supplied kitchen, outdoor spaces including fire pit, and bike storage downstairs. Easy to walk to bike rentals, parks, restaurants in town. Lovely spring weekend

The Lanesboro House was exceptionally clean and comfortable for our family. The kitchen had all of the brand new utensils we needed to cook and grill. We enjoyed the patio and also the large dining room table for board games. The house was steps from the Root River Trail where we recorded numerous species for the worldwide bird count. Many birds were also seen in the yard due to the stocked bird feeders. The owners even had additional supplies for restocking. Just down the street, we attended a superb performance at the Commonweal Theatre. What a wonderful weekend in Lanesboro.

Amazing Property!

We simply cannot say enough about this property! The owners are obviously interested in the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. The amenities are plentiful - so many things we brought were already provided. The kitchen is so well stocked with quality equipment, dishware, etc. that we all wanted to stay! They even provided bird seed and suet if we wanted so we could enjoy the birds as we enjoyed the outdoor environment. The town of Lanesboro was fun and so nice to be able to park our cars and walk every where we wanted to go. Our group always go to a different place every year but this place truly temps us to repeat! Thank you so much Jill & Jim for an amazing location!

Lanesboro House is perfect!!!

We visited Lanesboro for biking on the Root River State Trail, and kayaking. Our sty at Lanesboro House (there were 4 of us) could not have been better!! It was immaculately clean, very well provisioned, especially the gorgeous, gourmet kitchen!!! The setting is very quaint with a fire ring in the back for those chilly nights, a lovely dining area, and lower level indoor parking for our e-bikes!!! It was all perfect, and we’ll be back!!!
