The location of this hotel is truly amazing, and the property itself is very nice and beautifully maintained. However, considering that the nightly rate is already on the high end, the additional fees significantly impact the overall experience. I was charged an extra $150 per night for my small dogs and an additional $60 per night for valet parking, which adds up quickly. When I had to check out one night early to avoid being trapped by a storm, I understood being charged for the unused night—but I was also charged the pet fee for that night, even though we did not stay. That felt excessive and unfair. The staff overall seemed tired and disengaged, particularly at the front desk. It honestly felt like an understaffing or morale issue—perhaps better staffing or compensation would make a noticeable difference in guest experience. The one bright spot was the woman working at the cafeteria. She was kind, attentive, and clearly overworked, as she was handling both cashier duties and coffee preparation alone for long periods of time. For a property that charges premium nightly rates plus multiple extra fees, there should absolutely be at least one additional person helping her prepare orders. Overall, this is a great location with a beautiful property, but the extra charges and staffing issues take away from what could otherwise be an excellent experience.

I booked Margaritaville mainly because of the room size and the fact that we were travelling with a pet. I gave 2 stars because the room size was as described; however, my stay was subpar at best. Understanding it was a busy holiday season, I expected some crowding; however, I also expected hotels to be fully staffed during this time. Check-in was a zoo with only 2 people working a 4-person desk during the holiday peak. Valet is actually $60 a day, not the $40 listed in this ad.  Only 1 of the 3 advertised bars was open, the one in the lobby that was in the middle of all of the daily chaos, making it a lackluster time enjoying a margarita in Margaritaville. The property was beyond family-friendly and practically a daycare with kiddy karaoke nightly in the lobby by the only open bar - Sorry, I do not want to hear Baby Shark and pay $25 for a drink. Kids were also screaming over the banisters. I had to call twice about it, and they would just move to the next floor. I also recognize that this is the lazy parents as well, who seem to check out of monitoring their kids when other families are around.   A 21+ bar/lounge space would be great for people to enjoy who are not travelling with minors. Overall, if you aren't travelling with kids, I would avoid this place.
