Given that this hotel is right on the beach in a very desirable area of Lake Tahoe, the rates were very reasonable. As others have mentioned, the amenities are fairly bare-bones, but it was impeccably clean, the staff was helpful, and we had everything we needed, including a mini-fridge in the room. We walked to several restaurants, to the beach, and to other water activities. The hotel also has multiple pools and patios where you can sit and enjoy a drink and feel the breeze off the lake. We highly recommend!

Decent hotel next to the Lake. Close to snow parks

We had a great time. The room was clean and warm. The breakfast needs work but for the price of the room you can go elsewhere to eat.

Nice hotel, on the beach, great price.

Pros: Great price for the Tahoe region, comfortable, clean, nice hot tubs.
Cons: Maybe have only one larger pool? The interior of some of the rooms could have some updates, the bathrooms are a bit tight, but not unreasonable.
I have stayed here before and will stay again when my travels take me to the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The staff have been the friendliest and are helpful. The location is the best...right on the beach. There are several nice restaurants nearby. There are two pools and two hot tubs, one inside. Some people may complain that the interior is dated, yes it is, but it has always been clean, the beds are comfortable and it is so nice having a refrigerator and microwave for quick meals. The breakfast is not a large hot breakfast, but it is enough to start the day. It is also fun to meet and chat with others. This is definitly a good family friendly motel.
