My family and I were so delighted by our experience staying at Greystone Lodge in Lake Placid in every possible way. We earnestly recommend to anyone who may be considering a stay there. It starts and ends with owners Fav & Jeff who clearly go above and beyond to anticipate and accommodate every need and want their guests could have. Responses to messages were immediate and thoughtfully addressed any questions we had (though there were not a lot because instructions were very thorough). Our impression of the Greystone Lodge home is that it is quite literally stunning. Despite having seen the photos online, we all said ‘wow!’ out loud upon entering. The massive open beam architecture with high ceilings is inspiring, accentuated by an abundance of interior masonry and open staircases. Spacious and tastefully appointed, the feel of the home is 5-star posh but with the right dose of rustic to never let you forget where you are. We felt the location was perfect - awesome lake views through huge picture windows and an easy walk on the Mirror Lake lighted sidewalk into the charming town. Most in our family are skiers, and we appreciated the easy access to Whiteface and garage parking for convenient car load/unload from the home’s mud room with locker-style cabinets and benches for booting-up. We hope to return to Lake Placid soon, and when we do we will look no further than a return visit to Greystone Lodge. Bravo, Fav & Jeff!

Our stay at this Lake Placid home was absolutely perfect! The ambiance was amazing — every detail has been thoughtfully designed to create comfort and beauty. The house itself is stunning and truly takes your breath away the moment you walk in. It’s close to town yet feels wonderfully peaceful, and the walk around the lake is just magical. With every amenity you could ask for, this home offers the ideal blend of luxury and relaxation. We can’t wait to come back!

House had absolutely everything we needed and was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of room to hang out and be together and loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom/shower. Views were gorgeous and was an easy walk to main street. Hosts were also so responsive and truly wanted to make the stay so nice for us.

An absolutely amazing home! Just wow!!! The owners have thought of everything! The stocked kitchen, peaceful bedrooms, relaxing porches and a prime location. They were very helpful with recommendations of things to do and local restaurants and communication was top notch! Truly an amazing home! We will for sure be back!!

We had a fabulous experience at this home. When we met our kids there that first evening we were all smiles as the home was absolutely beautiful and so perfectly located. We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed everything the home and location had to offer. We walked to local hikes, spent an afternoon at the nearby beach and our kids and grandkids played tennis. We walked into town for ice cream and cooked several wonderful dinners at this well appointed home. Our grandkids especially loved the game room and it was hard to get them out of there! We had two wonderful bonfires and made s’mores and although we had 2 children and a baby the various bedrooms afforded privacy and quiet. It was a great family get together as we came from all over and we enjoyed ourselves very much just spending time together in the amazing home with a view of Mirror Lake. Our host was prompt and answered all our questions very quickly and closing up the home was very simple with very few requirements. You can’t go wrong reserving this home.

This home is fabulous. Three large bedrooms, each with its own bath, plus a large bunk room with its own bath - plus a pool room and a ping pong room. Short walk into town.This has to be one of the best places in Lake Placid for a large family.

Late Fall Adult Getaway

Spacious, well-designed home with inviting indoor and outdoor living areas. The kitchen is well-stocked, highly organized, and spotlessly clean, with appliances, cookware, and dishes all in excellent condition. The games room added a lot of fun to our stay, featuring foosball, ping pong, billiards, and darts. For those needing to work remotely, the desk setup was highly functional. Conveniently located near town and local activities, this home provided the perfect base for our family trip. The owner was exceptionally responsive both before and during our stay, quickly addressing any questions we had. We highly recommend this home for a memorable stay!

Wonderful Property!

Greystone was perfect for our family vacation on Mirror Lake. The house was spacious, clean, and it was great to have extra amenities such as sheets, towels, etc. Location was also perfect. The place is beautiful and has the perfect location. We walked into town everyday. The mirror lake loop is great for exercise. The family enjoyed playing pool and the screened in porch was our favorite spot.

A wonderful time spent here over spring break with family and friends. Meticulously looked after property with incredibly thoughtful touches throughout and a very helpful and communicative owner. Beautiful Home

This is a great property, very spacious, well equipped kitchen. Great view of the Lake. Location is within walking distance to Town. Definitely not baby proof. We were enough people to supervise the little ones, so that wasn't a problem for us. The Host was very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back some day.

Fantastic Family Trip

Fantastic property for our family trip. Seamless experience from top to bottom, extremely satisfied with our choice. Greystone is a stunning Adirondack home, inside and out. We loved the style and architecture, made our trip more special. Great value for our family, extensive amenities and games, a very well stocked and outfitted kitchen and comfortable places to hang out together. Set the bar for future VRBos. Responsive, helpful, and flexible host. Thank you for a memorable family trip. Highly recommend staying here. Kids and adults loved Greystone and were sorry to leave.
