Friendly guy at front desk, work hard to get us in early. Unlike Grand Adirondack rude at front desk when I asked at 2:30 pm if they possibly had a room again 7 hour drive in a snow storm. He laughed at me didn’t check to see if rooms were available. “Check is at 4pm strictly “ and continued to laugh. Next morning he le someone check in early I called him out he said she was just adding a room.

We have stayed at the Devlin for a family gathering now for the past 4 years after the Christmas and New Year holidays, and we always find this motel to be clean, well designed, conveniently located, and very family friendly, in large part due to the excellent staff. They are very accommodating. We will continue our annual holiday family tradition of staying at the Devlin in Lake Placid after the holidays.

The room was big and clean. Had a great view of the mountians. Only down fall was the noise from kids running down the halls. It didn't last long and was quiet after that.
