We were notified an hour prior to arriving that we would need to park far from the cabin to unload our luggage due to construction. The whole road was torn up. We were not given any advanced notice of this construction. There was also loud bass noise from across the lake from a nightclub that went on all night. It reverberated throughout the cabin. Then the construction crew was back working at 6:30am with heavy equipment. We were sleep deprived the entire time. We left a day early and was refunded half of our total rental which was appreciated. However the whole experience was super unpleasant, and I wished I had reserved somewhere quieter had I know all of this beforehand.
