Great place to stay for the weekend, especially if you are the type of folks that are constantly on the go and aren't spending too much time lounging around. It's the perfect distance between Saratoga springs and Lake George (pretty much in the middle of both locations). The weather for the weekend I was there was not the best but there is a beautiful are with a fire pit and grill right near the water.

Amenities not included

Overall beautiful lakeside view but there was garbage when we checked in to our cabin and the place was dusty. Also you have to pay to rent to kayak not included in amenities.

Short Getaway

There are about 10 units on this property; some connected and some free standing. The units are older, but clean and have some updates. The owners were attentive. Beds were comfortable. The screened front porch was nice at the beginning and end of the day. Not a ton of privacy, but a convenient location if you are going to explore the area. You do have to drive a ways to get anywhere. We did not use the river front. I don't know that you would want to swim here. There is no fishing here.
