Wonderful rental

This was a wonderful rental, convenient location. Loved having a fire pit and jacuzzi. The property manager was great, easy to get in touch with and answered all my questions. This cabin was perfect for us.

Most pleasant escape!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property! Lovely little town with all the charm and charisma you'd expect. Nice little cabin with both outdoorsy and modern amenities. We loved the fire pit and record player!! Thanks for the stay!

Mountain trip Fall 2022

We had a great stay at Knotty by Nature. Property was clean and beautiful. There were so many nice little extras like a Bluetooth speaker for the hot tub and games for the kids.

Cute little house. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub during the cold nights. Beds were comfy and there were extra blankets if you got cold.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

The house was very clean and had all of the extra convenient items to make our stay relaxing. Mr. LL was great at communicating before our arrival and responded quickly to our question about the gas fireplace. We were sad to leave, but are looking forward to visiting again.

Great place to stay!

The property was perfect. Very clean, well-stocked without feeling cluttered, great amenities as part of the Rumbling Bald Resort. We especially loved the fire pit! Note that the property is under a management company. There are extra steps to take after reserving through VRBO, and your communication and check in is through that company.

Great house! Very clean, updated & comfortable. A short drive to the resort. Loved the fire pit & hot tub. Plenty of room for our family. Comfortable beds. Amenities at resort were a lot of fun. Quiet location. Hope to return!

Lovely home and location. Amenities were great to use. We're locals in Asheville and just love getting away from the noise. Eveverything was peaceful and quiet. Spent my 40th Birthday here. Thank you again!!

Lake Lure NC

We're from eastern NC and this was our first time at Lake Lure. Going to a lake in the mountains is a nice change from the beach. The house was just as described and more. I love the privacy, the view, and the easy access to the lake, pool, and everything else Rumbling Bald has to offer. The lake water/sand absolutely beautiful!! My boys loved exploring and visiting Chimney Rock. We plan to visit again!!! Highly reccomend it!!!

Great, isolated cabin!

This cabin is great is you're looking for somewhere far enough from other travelers but close enough to essentials that you won't feel under provisioned. The town of Chimney Rock has plenty to check out 20ish minutes away, there's a grocery store 15ish minutes away, and Asheville is about an hour away for a cool day trip. The management company was very helpful in providing instructions and restaurant recommendations. The house had everything we needed, and I think we could have stayed at the house all week without seeing another soul if we wanted. Fire pit area and hot tub are awesome at night!

Wonderful property

The property was really beautiful, clean and handy to activities. The water was hot and the AC cold. We really enjoyed the hot tub and roasting marshmallows! The only complaint is the driveway. It needs to be repaired. The front porch steps are a little spongy too. Other than that, it was a perfect place to stay and we hope to go back! Thank you!

Weekend visit

It is a comfortable house to stay in. It rained every evening we were there, but the back porch is covered and screened in so I could still enjoy sitting out. Other things worth a mention: parking is nice flat area convient to back door for loading and unloading car; some cards and games for all ages; DVD player in bedroom with the bunk beds and a lot of DVD’s, especially for younger kids. Record player with records. I enjoyed that the house is all one level. Outside decks are the walkway down to the fire pit.

Exceptional resort amenities

Very clean home. Our baby crawled on the floor without issues. It was so clean. Very thoughtful touches. Games for all ages. Well stocked with kid DVDs. Excellent communication with the resort property management team. The resort amenities were the best. 5 min drive to amenities and the lake. The resort beach was clean and beautiful. We launched our kayak right from the beach and rented a pontoon boat from the resort. So easy and such a beautiful lake. Highly recommend this resort and this property!

Great for the whole family!

This was a great family getaway for all ages. Our two-year-old daughter loved the toys in the home, barely touching the ones we brought her. The porch and the hot tub were great places to unwind for the adults. Access to the amenities of the Rumbling Bald resort was a huge plus. The beach and outdoor pool with a lazy river were great. We also had fun hunting waterfalls, enjoying scenic overlooks, and visiting the Tryon International Equestrian Center, all under 45 minutes away! This was a great getaway, and we hope to return again.

Happy Place!

This house was perfect for a short weekend getaway with my wife and 3 kids. There was plenty of room for us and more. The place was clean, cozy, accessible and fun. We took advantage of the fire pit, hot tub and indoor pool at the resort. The beds were comfortable and all amenities are as described. Excellent communication with the hosts! Only wish we could have stayed longer!
