From the very beginning, our host, Sheri, was very attentive and pro-active. We asked for a few things and received them immediately. As we cooked almost every night, this house was stocked with everything we needed from spices to pots and pans to place settings. There was so much space for our family of 6 and two dogs. There was a large dining room table and another large table in the sunroom, which we used for playing games (which were also abundant at this house). There were plenty of gates to keep the dogs corralled and happy, and also a dog park available (which we did not use). The sunrise reflecting off the mountain in the morning was breath taking. We also took full advantage of pickleball, the pool, hot tub, and sauna. We, unfortunately, did not have time for this resort's other offerings including corn hole, basketball, mini-golf, weight room and exercise classes. The location was also perfect for a quick trip and hike to Chimney Rock and Asheville. The Catawba Falls River and Ridge loop (Pisgah National Forest) was absolutely beautiful as was the Hickory Nut Falls trail in Chimney Rock State Park. We would absolutely highly recommend this wonderful house. I REALLY miss their sunroom!!
