Great beds. Lighting in bathroom was very dim. We thought lights were burnt out, Maintenance was very prompt, changed bulbs and gave us extra light. Nice property. We stayed a couple of nights, off season so good rates. No microwaves in room, but located in hallway. Coffee maker was very slow.

Lots to do. The pools were fun. The the surrounding area was beautiful. I enjoyed the restaraunt :good food , fun drinks. Our room was nice and the temperature remained comfortable. The area is serene.The arcade was a dissappointment. We did spent a good amount of time there even so.It was dirty and old machines. It would be nice to have an adult game like Stern pinball..

Did not meet expectation. Property is in need of a compete renovation. Room was clean, despite only one bar of soap and black mold in bathroom. Rooms are very dimly lite. Outside walkways in need a repair, building in need of paint. Wonderful location, but hotel was a disappointment.

Food options were great and the property has a lot of charm and character. Very fitting for the lakefront. Room was good but there was some minor damage and dirtiness in areas along the floor. The bed mattress was also sunken in on one side so I slept on the opposite end.

Our stay at the abbey was mediocre. The ice machine didn’t work, the garbages in the hallways pulled up, room service trays in hall way for hours. The property is not wheelchair or stroller friendly beware. Our room was not cleaned the second day of our stay. Just sub par.
