The resort is situated a few minutes from the beautiful and historic city of Lagos, and some of the best beaches in the Algarve, offering safe bathing for all generations. Lagos and the area around the apartment offers something for everyone, with superb waterfront activities from kayaking to surfing , boat trips, historic sites, trail walks, superb cycle routes, great restaurants and easy access to nearby towns and villages to visit and explore.

Brilliant Location

This property exceeded our expectations. Patios that gave us morning and afternoon sun, beautiful golf course views, lovely resort development. Only (minor) disappointments were limited TV options and a rusty charcoal barbecue grill, but we had so many options for dining out in Old Town Lagos, it was probably a blessing that we didn't cook dinners in. Overall, a wonderul week.

Perfect spot to see more of Portugal

We’ve visited Portugal a number of times now but this was our first time staying at Boavista. It’s ideally located for seeing lots of the Algarve, with close proximity to Lagos and Luz in particular. The apartment was ideal for us (family of 4) and we stayed for two weeks without the need for a car as everything is near enough for Ubers. The pool is just 30 seconds walk and always had loungers available. We played the golf course twice which was in lovely condition and ate at the Clubhouse a couple of times. The communication was always quick and easy, with helpful recommendations provided for places to visit or eat. We are already considering coming back again next year as it really had everything we could need.

Sunny Days

Fantastic ground floor apartment with beautiful views of the golf course. Everything you would require has been catered for, fully equipped kitchen, love the microwave! A bright and airy lounge, and bedrooms with comfortable beds and safe provided in master bedroom. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio in the morning sun watching the world go by and the front one in the afternoon to capture the last of the sun. If you fancied a BBQ there is one provided. Swimming pool is literally a 2 minute walk across the road! We all made use of the pool so clean and so big! Lovely changing area with showers and toilets! Overall...had a fantastic relaxing tranquil holiday as this was our intention. Boa Vista Resort itself is wonderful, close to many beautiful stretches of coast line...board walk is a must! Lagos itself is fascinating so many restaurants, bistros and cafes to choose from. Had a lovely train ride to Faro, gave us all a chance to sit back and just enjoy the wonderful countryside. Finally we would like to say thankyou to both Kirsty and Stuart, we all had a fantastic 3 wks and special thanks to Emily for your help and support... we will definitely be returning.🌞

Perfect apartment

Superb apartment

This is a superb apartment in the best location ( my opinion) on Boavista. The master bedroom had an updated mattress, which was very comfy. It’s a super king size so plenty of room! We used the aircon as it was rather hot when we arrived. Worked really well nice and quiet. Water was always hot

“Nearly a home from home”

Accommodation was good and exactly as advertised, very comfortable super king bed. Resort is exceptionally well maintained, although very quiet, it made it very easy to get a golf tee time. One suggestion I would have for owners would be to leave some beach towels and/or supply larger bath towels suitable for use at the beach.

Expect What is Advertised!!

Kirsty and Stuart’s property was without a doubt the best VRBO place we have stayed. Why do I say that……everything that they say on the site is very accurate….. their communication with us was the best we’ve dealt with! We stayed the month of April,2023 and because of its location we’re able to visit the entire Algarve with day trips Emily was also a big part of the equation! If there were any issues she responded to you immediately and took care of them. Wonderful! The Boavista Golf and Spa Resort is a gem! Wonderful apartment in an ideal location

The apartment exceeded our expectations and the pool area was wonderful. It is also in a great location for exploring the Algarve. Lovely weather also helped. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area you need look no further than this apartment. Communication with Kirsty and Stuart was great and Emily, the property manager, was so helpful. Just the best!

Having travelled the world using self catering accommodation, I can say with all honesty this is the best we ever stayed in. We love Lagos and the surrounding area and have stayed with friends for the last 20yrs, but now needed to find some nearby to be independent ,and this suited us perfectly! Very suitable for someone who is a little bit disabled as the whole apartment is flat. The sitting room furniture is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, although with all the delicious food in the area why would you cook? The boa vista complex is immaculate and the swimming pool very nearby is wonderful. Once again managble steps with a handrail and immaculately clean. Loved it all. Thanks Kirsty and Stuart

A lovely apartment in a great location

We stayed at this lovely apartment situated at Boa Vista Golf resort, for a golf break. The apartment is positioned near the 16th fairway with views of the course and the patio is a nice place to sit with a glass of wine and watch the golfers. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped, very comfortable for 4 adults or a family of 4, and great if you want to play golf. TV was good with Sky Sports available and lots of other channels, so we could watch the test match. The large swimming pool is just a few steps away, with plenty of Sun Lounges to relax and take in the sun. Communication with Kirsty & Stuart was great, I would definitely recommend this apartment as a great place to stay

Golf trip.

If you are golfing in the Lagos area, I cannot recommend this property enough. Great location, fantastic golf course and clubhouse. Accommodation is spotless with everything you could need. The most comfortable holiday beds I’ve slept in. Communication first class from owners and the person who meets you on arrival. Will definitely stay again when we return.

Absolutely Fantastic on every Level!

My family and I stayed here for 10 weeks and had a wonderful time. The apartment is a real gem, it has all of the mod cons you'd expect along with an incredible view up the fairway with rolling hills and mature trees in the distance. We were sad to leave and look forward to spending our next holiday here. The development is very well maintained with regular security patrols from the staff, very friendly gardeners who keep the gardens pristine and an excellent on site restaurant and gym. Thank you very much Kirsty, Stuart and Emily. You were all fantastic hosts throughout the process start to finish. 5 Stars all round! I'd have no hesitation in recommending this to friends and family!

The property was clean and well appointed. There are pleasant seating areas front and rear, the rear area having a pleasant view over the golf course and lake. There is an excellent open air swimming pool closed by. We would certainly be interested in staying here again.

Sunny Stay on Golf Resort & Spa

A lovely 2 bed appartment on Golf complex. When my wife and I booked this appartment, we did so as we wanted a home from home style accomodation. Excellent wifi coverage , access to UK premium sport channels , air conditioning , ensuite bathrooms, washing facilities etc. We were delighted that everything was as advertised. The appartment has a private rear patio with sun loungers and the outdoor pool is only a 2 minute walk away. We don't play golf (yet), however the course looked immaculate as is the whole resort. Staff at the club house speak excellent english and are happy to order a taxi into Lagos on your behalf should you wish to go into the centre of town. I can wholeheartedly recommend the appartment and resort. The owners Kirsty and Stuart provided excellent communication and information to make our stay as easy & convenient as possible.

Lovely home in a quiet, peaceful location yet close to everything. So comfortable and such a pleasure to stay here. It had everything we needed for our month + stay. The only thing to note is that the outdoor pool, though so inviting, was just way too cold to use in the fall and we wished it had been heated. Would absolutely recommend this spacious condo and would definitely stay again if we get back here. ( just a heads up for those who are from the U.S., the hair dryer is U.K. plug so your Portugal adapter won’t work)

Great apartment beautiful views

Booked this property for a week to celebrate a special birthday. The booking and communications were excellent. We arrived early but owner allowed us in straight away. We found the apartment exactly as described, it was clean and was home from home. A word about the outside where the furniture was comfortable and the view beautiful. Highly recommended.
