Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The room was old and outdated,the bed was small and no facilities in the room. No bottle of water. This was the first hotel in Nigeria with no coffe/tea, milk sugar and kettle facilities, I have been to. The check in boy Richard was very nice. But the manager was rude. The water coming out of the tap was brown water, disgusting and smelling and when I brought the attention of the manager to it, he was in denial. Asking to bring me to the water treatment facility. I don’t know how this will solve a problem of disgusting water from the tap. I could have a skin infection or even water borne diseases from this water. The receptionist and another guy and the manager saw this despite allowing the water to flow for over 30 minutes. I decided I was checking out and asked for a paper to confirm my money will be transferred back to my account but he was being difficult. It was not until when I decided to take things up directly with Expedia. Then he wrote a paper and he said to me after that I was demarketing his hotel. I don’t know how I could be doing this when I was providing a honest feedback of my experience.
Also you need a code to enter this place and it is very far from the entry gate. So it is not a walkable distance and far.
Surely will not be returning. Was very dissapointed.
