This Large nicely decorated Duplex Apartment (2292 sq. ft.), is located in a Private Condominium of only 15 units with swimming-pool, gated parking and a famous pastry shop (Fabrica Velha) below.

Walking distance from the Carvoeiro Centre shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, supermarket and the picturesque beach of Carvoeiro, in the Algarve.

The apartment can accommodate up to 7 persons and 1 child in a cot.

Entrance to the property is via a large sun terrace with outdoor dining furniture - perfect for al fresco dining on the warm Algarve evenings - with patio doors and main door entrance leading to the lounge/dining area.

The apartment is spaciously set out on two floors, separated by a spiral staircase from the lounge area.

The LOWER FLOOR consists of the open-plan lounge with 2 sofas, Smart TV and dining area with table and chairs. An office desk and a chair. Off this is a double bedroom with (NEW MATTRESS 160cmx200cm), the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, micro-wave, fridge, oven, pot, pans and cutlery.

The utility room with washing-machine and clothes line and a full bathroom with a shower, toilet and wash basin.

The UPPER FLOOR consists of a double bedroom (NEW MATTRESS 160cmx200cm), a twin bedroom, a single bed in the library (if 7th person) and a full equipped bathroom with a bath/shower room, toilet and a wash basin.

The twin and double bedrooms on this level share a large and very private sun terrace accessed by patio doors.

Car hire is not necessary in town, however the apartment has a private gated car park for those who wish to hire a car.

A Golf Shop and a local famous bakery café are also part of the condominium.

We were all-- 6 of us in our 70ies-- completely impressed with the property which was fully equiped from every angle. The hosts even provided fresh fruit and milk and bread which we consumed after our evening arrival.

Property in good location, easy access to town. Accommodation was light and very airy. Property was fully functional, the kitchen was well equipped which was a particular need of ours and there was adequate space for the family. It did however feel a little tired, not quite as fresh as the images portrayed, we feel it is in need of some TLC. The property was very clean on arrival and the hosts were exceptional at communicating and met all our needs and answered all our questions. Sonia was most helpful.

Cockroaches

We arrived Wednesday, first few days were great till we found a cockroach in the kitchen late on the Friday night, it went under neath the dishwasher.Informed the property manager 1st Thing Saturday morning who didn't come out with a spray until the Monday after we had and caught 2 cockroaches. One in the downstairs bedroom came from underneath the bed, and one in the living-room.No more Cockroaches for a few days until the next Friday when we caught another one, in the downstairs shower. Contacted the property manager that we weren't happy, she apologised and stated they could only fumigate once the property was empty, no further solutions were offered.Other than the above that ruined our stay here, we also found the following:The Cooker Hood didn't workSome of the patio doors didn't lockDownstairs Shower room sink plug didn't workDownstairs toilet flush button sticks and water keeps runningBoth downstairs Air conditioning Units were very fiddly to switch on and offDoor surround loose on double upstairs bedroomStaircase had been repaired with Cable Ties and Black TapeUpstairs Shower water came out of side of the shower-head and went cold at timesAfter the cockroaches we didn't see the point in complaining about the rest of the above, as the cockroaches had already ruined our stay here.It was advertised as a 4 Star apartment, before the cockroaches we thought it was a 3 Star. With the Cockroaches we'd give it Minus Stars if we could.

Easily accessible

Loved the bakery below and ease of accessibility to restaurants, the beach and boardwalk. The bed on main floor was hard and uncomfortable. We slept in the upstairs bed which was more comfortable with lots of space and a balcony. Keep in mind the spiral staircase if you are staying in the upstairs bedroom. Communication with property manager was great and the kitchen was well stocked which was a wonderful bonus. We didnt realized that it's located on a busy one way street into Carvoeiro so it's a bit noisy with cars speeding through all night long.

Wonderful vacation in the Algarve

The first half of this trip was a family vacation with our granddaughter and children. Having the baby supplies (crib, high chair, baby gate etc) was great as we were travelling from out of the country. Our son was still working so we appreciated the great wifi. Weather was not as good as we had hoped but still managed to get in a few hikes and beach days. Baby dipped her toe in the ocean for the first time.Second half of the trip was with friends and since the weather was much improved we did day trips throughout the Algarve. We are all in agreement that this location was the best of all the towns/cities we visited.The apartment is very well equipped in the kitchen and appreciated the washing machine for such a long vacation. The welcome package was great as we had not done any grocery shopping and arrived later than we expected (too many stops in our drive down from Lisbon). Check in process was very smooth and Sonia (property manager) was wonderful. She was a great help to helping us feel very much at home.Our only issue would be the parking but that is more the result of driving a 9 passenger van in Portugal . We were able to park on the street below without any problem. The bakery/cafe below was a hit with all of us!Thanks Matt, Danielle and Sonia for a wonderful time in Portugal.

Could not want anything more…

We had the most amazing stay at Matt and Gabrielle’s property. The place is so well equipped, left us wanting for nothing. The location was ideal, very central and only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. The communication with Matt and Gabrielle was so welcoming, easy and fast. Sonia was there to greet us when we arrived. Again…very welcoming and she was incredibly helpful. Airport pick up and drop offs were organised for us, and we were accommodated to regarding check in and out times. The whole family had the best of time and would highly recommend the property. Thank you Matt, Gabrielle and Sonia!

Great unit

The unit is quite large and only draw back would be the staircase for elderly people. The weather was mixed due to the passing of hurricane Kirk but did get in some hiking and beach time. The only fault I found was there was no hand soap in the bathrooms. But on the plus side there was a nice welcome package for us so thank you.

Great spacious duplex

Highly recommend Casa Nelly fornyour stay in Carveoiro. Our 5th visit to the area but our 1st stay in Casa Nelly and we will be back. Duolex had everyrhing we needed. Wonderful apartment. Everything you need is there. Beds comfy, bathrooms clean, kitchen stocked with utensils and plastics as good as your own home, towels clean and good quality. Instructions for entry and communication with owner clear and easy to follow. Short walk to beach and great pool in complex. Highly recommended.

Apartment exactly as described, short walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants and bars a few mins away. Yet apartment area is quiet so really is the best of both Worlds. Casa Nelly

Lovely apartment ideal location easy walk to all bars restaurants. The apartment is just lovely, the living room comfy with smart tv, the kitchen is very well equipped although there were no matches or lighter for the gas hob so had to buy matches to cook with but not a major problem. The beds used were all comfortable with good mattresses, the outside furniture could do with an update as we had 2 broken chairs and some of the loungers look a little tired but again nothing that was a problem. Pool towels were supplied which was nice the pool area very clean and never busy. The whole apartment block is well maintained and clean. Whilst you can hear some noise from the road it didn't impact us in any way, you can smell the bakery below tempting us in for a pastal de nata! Check in was easy without any issues, contact with the hosts was great and there was a lovely welcome pack which was very much appreciated:) Our holiday at Casa Nelly was wonderful and we wouldn't hesitate to return.

Great Stay in Carvoeiro

Plenty of space, clean and well-equipped. Sonia, who managed check-in, was very helpful and the whole experience was straightforward. The pool was lovely and very welcome in the hot weather. Lots of great beaches nearby and the apartment is easy walking distance to Carvoeiro beach and restaurants.

Fantastic!

What a lovely property in beautiful Carvoeiro. From start to finish communication was excellent between Matt, Danielle and Sonia. Nothing was too much trouble. Great they could organise transfers for you and we had an early and late check out (I know this isn't always possible). The apartment is spotless and had so much space for our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers. I can honestly say this is one of the best self catering apartments I've stayed in. Matt and Danielle have thought of everything in terms of kitchen equipment making is so easy for you to enjoy meals in the apartment. The coffee cups were a favourite of mine! Communication with Sonia whilst we were there was great, she was always on hand to help us with anything. Pleasantly surpised to have a welcome pack waiting for us, a nice thought. Apartment is about 5-10 min stroll to central streets of Carvoeiro, brilliant for us as we didn't have a car. We have been before but if we returned we would maybe hire a car and explore surrounding beaches because it is so beautiful. But for us on this holiday beach and pool was all we wanted. We got an uber up to aldi for about €6 to stock up. Also the bakery beneath the apartment is fabulous, we visited lots. The pool area was lovely, very clean. Most of the times we were up there it was just us five. This really was a fabulous holiday, we were sad to leave!

Case Nelly in Carvoeiro has everything you need in a perfect location

We couldn’t fault our stay at Casa Nelly. The location is fantastic, the accommodation fitted the 5 of us in (4 adults and 1 teenager) with room to spare and has everything you need throughout our stay. The comms with the caretakers of the property was brilliant with any query being answered and acted upon quickly. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves most days and the property was on a very secure and safe complex. The welcome pack was unexpected but very much appreciated too. You’re literally a 5-10 minute walk (mostly flat) from the beach and Carvoeiro centre and a stones throw away from a lovely bakery/coffee shop. We loved our stay at Casa Nelly and will definitely be back.

Fabulous and spacious duplex

This is a lovely, comfortable duplex with two large outdoor spaces. It is much larger than it looks in the photographs. We were four friends and had lot of room. Our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night, so naturally couldn’t meet with Sonia. The self check in process could have been clearer, however Sonia assured us that this will fixed for future guests.. Very quiet and really close to all amenities and beach. Portugal is not as cheap as it used to be and there is only two small supermarkets. We got a taxi up to Aldi and stocked up on essentials. taxi cost €7. We spent a lovely day in Ferrugua. Got a bus, however it was 1/2 the price in an Uber, which we got back. There is a lovely restaurant at the entrance to Carvoeiro, called Taste…can highly recommend and also the fabulous patisserie below. Would definitely stay here when we come back.

Casa Nelly

Casa Nelly is located in a very safe, central position in Carvoeiro. It is a lovely, bright and spacious apartment that comfortably sleeps 7. It is furnished well, has everything you need in self catering accommodation and there are a selection of books / games and Netflix on TV. There is allocated secure parking which is ideal as parking is premium in Carvoeiro. The shared pool is large, well kept and there are plenty of sunbeds. From booking to departure, the communication with owners Nelly and Rui was first class and Rui was on hand to answer any queries we had. We will definitely return. Thank you Nelly and Rui.
