You get what you pay for

It was… okay.. I mean, you get what you pay for. It was a last minute booking and it was cheaper than some, and didn’t require a security deposit. But, The stair ways smelled like cigarettes (didn’t want to take the elevator because it was sketchy..). The room was clean but seemed poorly maintained and outdated. I noticed a lot of cockroach bait gel around the room, which.. I get it, it’s a hotel, but don’t make it quite that obvious. Breakfast? It was basically 2 loaves of bread, little Debbie donuts from the gas station put in the case, cereal, and prepackaged oatmeal that you would have to make in styrofoam bowl. If im in a crunch of time and money for a hotel stay, I would much rather stay here then some other hotels, but it wouldn’t be my first pick if it was a somewhat planned ahead trip.

There were literally bloody footprints in front of the elevator and the front desk. The staff mopped them up when I brought them to their attention, but they seem disinterested in contacting the police or an ambulance. Also, a cabinet and light fixture were literally broken. In my room. The picture of hot breakfast shown on the website did not resemble the cold cereal and toast presented. I will never stay here again.

Smelled like urine and body odor in every corner of the guest room floors. At one point there was a male barking like a dog in the hallway to get all the other actual dogs in the hotel barking at 12am and running up and down the halls while other rooms yelled out their doors. Door to the room felt like it could be lifted off the hinges if you tried hard enough. Get what you pay for, I get it. But damn.
