Destin beach condo on Gulf Shore Drive

The corner condo location was Great! View of the harbor as well as the inlet, and an 8 minute beach walk to the Gulf water, even closer to the inlet water. We swam at both amd enjoyed . Really liked the location. Also good security; gated parking and keyless entry for the unit. Nice not to worry about a key! Nice pool and shower to rinse off beach sand. We did not use the grills. The unit itself is a bit rough. It was clean, just needs updating. The king size mattress was good, but the queen had no support. We did not cook in the unit, but did a load of laundry and that worked as expected. The ice maker also worked. We appreciated the plentiful towels. It might have been nice to provide a couple of beach chairs. If you need luxury, this isn't it. But if you're okay with a great quiet location and modest accommodations, this will do. I guess it comes down to price.

The photos online don't compare to the property. The management need to do a serious overhaul and update. The only plus was the view and access to be beach was great.
