We were expecting something a little different than what we got. This resort isn't a hotel and it doesn't even feel like a resort- it's individually owned condos rented out by the company. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, and some ridiculous rules for the allowed temperatures in the rooms.There was no central air conditioning other than a split unit ac. There was no staff on site to clean the rooms or refresh towels, washcloths, soap etc. No room service or other services were provided or offered. Our room was in a building that was unattached from the main office and restaurant. We didn't eat there due to the numerous bad reviews so we had to go into town to eat which was about 30-40 minutes out of the way depending on where we wanted to go. The resort felt really out of the way of St. George and Washington. I feel like this is a good resort for a company retreat or anyone who really loves golfing, but other than that it just didn't have that much to offer us. I feel like we paid for a luxury experience only to have an average low level hotel/motel experience. On the positive side, it was very quiet. I don't know that we would book here again.

Short stay at Beautiful Sand Hollow Resort

We absolutely loved the Hotel room, it was roomy and clean, close proximity to three pools, extra large hot tub, restaurant food was delicious and the service staff were friendly. The views and Golf course were beautiful! It is close proximity to beautiful Zion National park and other adventures! For those who golf, this has a strict dress code both for players and observers , even at the range. ( I unfortunately, do not golf. So I did not have proper attire to observe) The only real issue we had is the room never seemed to cool down. There are strict regulations on how guests can operate the thermostat. But, even turning it down to 68 degrees, it didn’t seem to change. I want to go again, prepared for Golf and hopefully try out a room with a kitchen etc and spend more time!

We enjoyed our stay here! We came as mother and daughter for a weekend getaway. We don’t golf, but chose this resort for the price and the pool! There are 3 pools, two with hot tubs. We never struggled to find a chair to lounge in or clean towels. The doors were a little janky getting into sometimes but probably just need a screw tightened or something. We didn’t eat at the restaurant because reservations were recommended and we didn’t make any, but someone else said they were able to walk in no problem. The only caveat (and I expected it) is that it is about a 20 minute drive to any other food options. The area is developing quickly, and I expect there to be more options nearby before we know it. Pretty much on top of sand hollow reservoir, but I would actually recommend quail creek, about a ten minute drive, for less of a crowd. Overall would recommend (:
