Such a gem! We just spent 4 wonderful nights at the apartment. It was such a relief to find, from the moment we walked in, an immaculate and modern apartment. The hosts met us at the door and gave us a tour of the apartment. They are just lovely. We spent time chatting with them and they were more than generous with their time and their suggestions. They even checked in with us mid-stay to make sure everything was fine. Other than being immaculate, the apartment had great bed linens and we slept very comfortably. They supplied many things to make our stay feel like home. The location is about a 5-6 minute walk from the train station. It is right next door to a grocery store. They have a washing machine too. The building is well-taken care of also. Within 2 minutes we were at the start of the pedestrian shopping area. Cafes, restaurants and shopping. Within a 7 minute walk is the open market to buy fruits, veggies, cheese and fish. Within a 10 minute walk, you arrive at the harbor where boats await to take you to Cinque Terre, Porto Venere, Lerici and other trips.
I can’t say enough about this wonderful apartment and its lovely hosts, in a great location. We thank them for sharing this beautiful space with us. If we ever return to La Spezia, we will certainly rebook the apartment. Grab it before someone else gets it. So worth it.
