Basic hotel, good location, reasonable price

I chose the hotel as it was close to the train station and I was arriving late and leaving Kyiv next morning. It was easy to find and the room was cheap. My window opened onto the hallway, which I didn't mind, but the blind was inadequate so the room stayed bright all night. The 24 hour bar was welcome when I arrived after a long day. Breakfast was ok although I had the impression that the guy running it would have preferred it if he had fewer customers. He seemed happier when he had nothing to do. I will stay again.

Easy to find, a long way from the centre.

Hotel is on 3rd and 4th floor of a skyscraper of more than 30 floors. Rooms reasonably large though noisy (boiler in bathroom makes a racket whenever the taps are used, walls are thin so noisy neighbours is a misery). Property is near the station but a long walk from everywhere else, and the town centre is up a very long steep hill. Floor was dirty and room wasn't serviced one day meaning it ran out of supplies. Unnecessary long wait for receptionist to check the room during checkout resulted in my missing the airport bus at the station by 15 seconds. The next bus was half an hour later.

Гостиница ,как вагов в поезде... со всех сторон слышно соседей... Стены очень тонкие, слышно абсолютно все... и со всех сторон... Еда очень примитивная, одно и тоже каждое утро - каша, 2 блинчика и чай , или кофе с холодным курасаном,,, Запахи столовой разносятся по всей гостинице.... несмотря на запрет курения - в гостинице курят и в комнате сильный запах сигарет.. Единственный плюс - это местоположение....

Great Value Near the Kyiv Train Station

Very nice budget hotel next to the Kiev train station. Helpful staff. Can't beat the location if you need access to the train station. Great value for the money.

Cheap. Near Central railway station. Clean. The hotel is part of old 32 floor building and you may use a couple of elevators and stairs to reach your room, kind of labyrinth. Cheap restaurant inside the hotel. No sound proof at all, everything in the next room is heard and could be noisy late in the night or early in the morning depending on the guests in the next room.
