Beautiful piece of property and very clean. Nicely decorated and spacious. Enjoyed the small pool. One of the nicer properties in which I’ve stayed. My only complaint would be I did not really care for this beach area. While Kure beach was relatively quiet, the nearby Carolina beach was too commercial and crowded.

Wonderful house just a block from the beach! Three floors of stairs so I hope your calves are in shape! The area was nice with the aquarium and boardwalk. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Nice getaway.

A special week!

"Carry Me Away" was the perfect spot for our family beach vacation. It looks just like the pictures. We were so excited when we drove up, found our bedrooms, and unpacked our groceries in the beautiful kitchen. The living room was perfect for our family meetings each night. The check-in and check-out procedure was very smooth and efficient. We could easily communicate with the owners. They were always very available. The location was great on a very quiet street and just a 6 minute walk to the beach. We highly recommend :"Carry Me Away!"

Great for families!

We came for a long weekend and stayed with 2 other families, all with young children. The house was perfect for what we needed, everything very clean. The only “complaints” we had were very minor and were that the walk to the beach access was somewhat far with the young children, and the kitchen could have had more pot/pan options. Otherwise we loved it and had an amazing time! The pool access is super convenient as well.

Spacious and updated

Upscale appliances and finishes, great space but in need of hooks or extra storage in bathrooms, full length mirrors, and please more than 1 bath towel per person for this price! The elevator is a necessity with the steepness of stairs, and the TV 's required knowledge of how to manage streaming VS a simple cable system. The pool is across the street not as close as the picture suggests, but nice.The washer/dryer combo is excellent.

Beautiful house by the beach - perfect for family

This was a perfect setting for our family’s week at Kure beach. The house was exactly as listed- beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked with all the amenities we needed. Kitchen has great appliances and everything we needed for family meals while we were there (even for the kids!) Staff were super responsive and communicative in the time before and during our stay which we appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean with everything you want

The townhome is beautiful and sits towards the back of the street. The community is quiet. The pool is across the street. When sitting on the third story deck, one can see a little bit of the Atlantic Ocean. Each bedroom has a sound machine to help with sleeping as some might go to bed before others. It’s an easy walk to the beach. The outside shower has warm water and helps prevent sand coming in the house. I appreciated having a garage to keep the car cool. We had a great vacation in this serene part of Kure Beach!

This was a lovely property, new construction in great condition, well decorated, with comfy beds. We enjoyed our stay with another family of young kids too. There was plenty of space to spread out. Mgmt was very welcoming and responsive to questions. It was a short walk to the beach and even shorter walk to the community pool. Would stay again!

Good Experience

Great place - very clean, organized and pretty. Would stay again. Neighbors very friendly. Close to beach ( 5 min walk w/ kids ), close to Fort Fisher park and easy access to food and groceries at Carolina Beach.

Beautiful property and good location

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is great and we’ll appointed. We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was great. The third floor AC was out when we got to the property but after notifying the property manager they had someone out to fix it within 30 min - impressive. Construction is going on next door and starts at 7am every weekday. I don’t think this was disclosed in the listing and would have been nice to know. It wasn’t a huge deal for us since we have young kids who are up early. The beach cart and chairs were a nice add for convenience. Would suggest some walking pavers around d the side of the property to the outdoor shower. We found it challenging to shower off well and stay clean to get back in the property. All in all we had a great stay and would stay at the property again.

Can't wait to come back!

Location and proximity to the beach was perfect, great parking, the entire house was immaculately clean. Sitting out on the balcony in the evenings was so relaxing, and the fans kept bugs away. Beds and furniture were very comfortable. Kitchen was amply supplied for cooking, didn't have to bring any of our own stuff. TV and internet were great, nice to have the kids entertained while we enjoyed a cocktail and worked on a puzzle in the evenings. I'd rate it at 6 stars if I could!

Beautiful Home

Cary Me Away was a perfect home for our family including a 6 year old grandson and an almost 3 year old granddaughter. It was clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and had all we needed and more. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. The only draw back was the construction going on next door which should be completed soon. It is a bit of a walk to the beach with 2 young children and all the beach gear, but the beach cart provided for guests was definitely and added plus. The pool was very nice and just across from the condo. I highly recommend “Cary Me Away” for a great vacation get away!

Wonderful Stay

My sisters and mom went to celebrate a big birthday. We needed a quiet place not in the heart of Carolina Beach but close enough to the beach to walk, with a pool for mom and easy access. This place fit the bill perfectly, and the elevator was a bonus (we did end up needing a lesson on how to use it!). Communication with iTrip is great, and the place was very clean with tons of stocked items in kitchen and for beach. The beach access is actually 5 short blocks, an easy 10 minute walk. The pool is directly across the street and really nice. Beds were comfortable for most; but since we all wanted our own rooms I stayed in the twin bunk room, and the mattress was not very thick. Probably fine for kids that weigh under 80 lbs but for an adult not super comfy. Construction still going on, the crews started at 7am and worked until 5:30 OR 6, so sitting on the patio was a bit noisy, and for most of two days the trucks blocked off the main access road but no big deal to drive around the corner instead. Overall we had a fabulous time and highly recommend this property and the property management.

Wonderful Kure Beach Rental

I highly recommend this beach rental if you are looking to stay in Kure Beach. This townhome is in a great location. It's close to the pier, Fort Fisher State Park, Carolina Beach State Park and is a short walk to the public beach access. The property management company answered any questions we had immediately and added several other personal touches. This is a new townhome and the builder is finishing out the other townhomes in the development so it is an active construction site. However, we were aware of this when we booked and it did not diminish our experience.

Nice House, not handicap friendly

In checking your listings our filters included.....handicap acces., elevator, 4 bedroom. The house itself was a nice house, it was not handicap friendly. The TV upstairs was the only one working until we figured out that the first and second floor tv's had to be reset to HDMI each time they were turned on. Would have been nice to have a working landline and phone book at the property. The hose pipe at the front wasn't working when we tried to wash our feet and shoes off.
