Playa Times está localizado en Kure Beach y es de aproximadamente 1 milla de la NC Aquarium, Ft. Museo de la Guerra Civil de Fisher y muelle de pesca de Kure Beach. Casa unifamiliar con su propia pasarela a la playa!

Este 2 dormitorios, 1. 5 baños casa frente al mar es ideal para una pareja o una familia pequeña. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama de matrimonio y baño privado de la mitad. Cuarto de invitados con 2 gemelos. baño principal está justo al lado de la zona de la cocina. Justo al lado de la cocina y sala de estar es un gran cubierta frente al mar para tomar el sol o cenar al aire libre. La cocina, comedor y sala de estar se encuentran frente al mar y tienen buenas vistas del Atlántico.

Hay un walkover privado a la playa y una ducha al aire libre. Wifi. Duerme 6. NO fumar y no mascotas.

Great cottage for two

The view! That's what this house's best feature is. The house is very comfortable (although no storage space for food) and cozy. Perfect for 2 people or family of 4.

Perfect place

House was as advertised. Right on the beach with its own access. Close to food and the aquarium and also Southport, Wilmington and Wrightsville beach. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends and family.

Wonderful beach but "water bugs" everywhere!

The beach was amazing and absolutely beautiful! The house was very clean on arrival. After the first night we noticed the roaches "waterbugs" come out after 9pm. All over the deck and under the house! We contacted the manager and they quickly sent out the exterminator and we thought our worries were gone.. the next night they were back on the deck and some of them migrated into the house through the air vents! The last night of staying a roach "waterbug" fell on my husbands head while sleeping and he didn't sleep the rest of the night. I would have left a 5 start rating but having to deal with the nasty roaches the whole time and so it is a 1 star rating!

Lovely cottage, but….

The house was as advertised and very clean. We also loved the location and the view was perfect. The main suggestion I would make would be to update the bathrooms. The toilets were small and low to the floor. Great for children but not for someone that’s 6’2” with bad knees. The dates tub/shower combination could be swapped for a walk in shower. Maybe even ADA approved. To finish I’ll say that we had a great vacation experience. Thank you.

Perfect little house

The house smelled so fresh and clean upon arrival. We thought it was even nicer than what the pictures show online. It was the perfect little house for our family of 4. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Beautiful, quiet little beach property

We really enjoyed staying at this beach house. The location was perfect for our family of five. There was space in the master bedroom for our pack and play and the house was easily baby proofed. Loved the close proximity to the beach when it was time for nap time or diaper changes. The town of Kure is so quiet and nice and the beach is beautiful and wide! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals.

Perfect location

We stayed here for a weekend getaway for my husband’s Birthday. 2 adults and our 2 children. The house was nice and the beach is right outside! The weather was horrible and cold but we still enjoyed it! I would love to come again and stay this summer to take full advantage of this perfect little beach house!

No Hustle and Bustle

If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and just want to enjoy the ocean, Kure Beach is a perfect destination. Due to Covid 19, we didn’t want to stay anywhere “busy”, and I was asked to find a “cabin by the beach”. The home at 717 Fort Fisher South fit what we were looking for to the T. It was perfect for a couple, or maybe a couple with 2 small children. Very nice, had everything we needed, and was right on the ocean with morning sunrises off the back deck that were worth waking up to. We would definitely rent this property again.

In just comparing

Kind of surprised that we had to make our own beds. There weren't even sheets on the bed. I have stayed at alot of b@b over the years and the experience here just didn't stand out.

Suited our needs for this trip..

.. But we won't be coming back to this property. We've stayed at many beach houses, so definitely understand some things just come with the territory of rentals. The owners and /or the real estate rental company have done their best to spruce up this cottage. The kitchen is stocked well, there's ample dining seating, and there's an outdoor shower head with "private" beach access, one house away from the public beach access. It was a little to busy for us, being so covid conscious. That is kind of it for positives. The house feels old, looks old, there's only so much sprucing up they can do. The outside AC unit looks like it's about to crumble at the slightest touch and cooled as such. It got so hot at night, our whole family couldn't sleep. How has that thing not been replaced yet? The beds felt like marble slabs, not even joking. The twin beds had mattress toppers on them. So, marble slabs with mattress toppers. To top it off, the house is infested with insects, mostly cockroaches, with a little bit of spiders and ants mixed in. Seriously, do some fumigation or tear it all down and start over. We only stayed for 3 nights and our time was mostly spent on the beach, thank goodness. We would lost it if we stayed longer.

Great place for beach getaway

We enjoyed our time at Kure Beach. The location of this property can't be beat. We loved being right on the beach. It is small but was perfect for my husband and I and our two children. We will be back!

Nice, small house suitable for 2-4 people.

The location was great and the home very clean and orderly. However, there was a significant mildew odor that we could not eliminate, over the weekend, that needs attention in order to make this place really nice.

Cozy beach cottage

Enjoyed this little place with great view of the beach, right on the beach! Loved coffee on the deck, walks on the beach, games at the kitchen table. And we had a lot of fun exploring North Carolina State Park and enjoyed sunset in the point Beware of beeping dishwasher in the night (ask how to operate). Also you have to pay extra for sheets and towels, and make your own beds. Not used to that!! Otherwise a fun lovely find

Just the most perfect little beach house!

Compact but perfect little beach house. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more and wish we'd stayed longer! It had everything we needed inside and out including private walkway to a delightful section of beach. So nice even my 87 year old mother had walks in the water along the beach and my sister, daughter & I boogie boarded til we dropped. So much fun!!! And the finishing touch was the stargazing from the adirondack chairs as we discovered a whole new sky from what we see in Wisconsin. Nice quiet location on the beach but attractions, food and anything else were easily accessible. Booking was super easy. The check in & check out process was positively ideal. Thank you so much for sharing this little gem--we hope to be back again & again!!!
