Beautiful home

The house was perfect for us and we throughly enjoyed our stay. The property manager, Barbara was so helpful and communicated different things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property with great amenities and parking

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the property. It was located a couple miles away from the hustle and bustle of Carolina Beach, so we had access to all the things we love about going to the beach. The property was well equipped (minus the outdoor table… 4 chairs for a place that “sleeps 10”). We did encounter a couple of issues. Having critical information (check in codes and beach access info) not provided until 1 hour prior to check in was inconvenient… especially when the info needed to be distributed to multiple people actively traveling to the location. There were clean and dirty clothes left from previous renters in the 2nd bedroom. For a place that offers a crib, I would have assumed a real baby gate would have been available for the 3rd floor, as a portable gate is not safe for such a staircase (and it wasn’t even able to install with any security… we had a 13 month old baby with us). I think our biggest complaint is the misleading description for the 2nd bedroom. It says there are 2 double beds, 1 Twin bed,1 twin bunk bed, and a crib. This implies there were 5 total beds and a crib. The room actually has 1 double bunk bed (so 2 beds) and 1 twin trundle bed. There isn’t a twin bunk bed at all. This caused for a shuffle of children… including someone sleeping on couch cushions in the master bedroom. I would suggest updating this verbiage to avoid confusion in the future. I would suggest this property to a friend in the future, assuming these key items were addressed.

Convenient to everything

Great place to stay with access to beach, all the beach supplies you could ask for and convenient to everything! Love Kure Beach! Thanks for letting us use the place! Pool was an added bonus after beach days!

Great stay

Our family had a wonderful stay. The elevator was helpful getting supplies up to the third floor. We did not realize the pool was shared by many units, but most of the time it was not crowded. Beach access is very close and convenient.

Family vacation

We had a fantastic time! This was our first trip to Kure Beach and it won’t be our last. This house had everything we needed and more. The only change I would make would be to put a king bed in the first floor suite which could be done with a small side table and move the chair by the bathroom door. The weather was perfect! Thank you so much!!

Beautiful place, great location!

Perfect location with all of the amenities for a group of teens and adults. Beautiful small town feel, walkable and not crowded beaches, close to pier and easy grocery shopping. Property was beautiful, clean, well appointed, and kitchen stocked with everything one might need for cooking in breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Lots of nice beach chairs and beach towels as well. We had a lovely stay!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!

We had an awesome Memorial Day weekend at this beach house! The location was perfect, close to everything we needed. The pool was great for the kids when they needed a break from the waves, and the balcony was a peaceful spot for us to relax. Barbara provided excellent hospitality, making sure we had everything we needed. We had a blast and would definitely recommend it!

Perfect for a large group

The house was beautiful and perfectly clean. Plenty of space and the view was incredible. Very short walk to the beach. The property manager Barbara was fantastic. She was easy to access and even brought us some things we needed like a colander and grilling tools. Highly recommend!

Family Time

Beautiful, well appointed home

We had an amazing vacation at Family Tides! Beautiful home with all the amenities we needed. Family friendly with the crib and baby gate, the elevator was great for my MIL especially. Wonderful location, very convenient to both the beach and pool. Don't miss out on the deep fried seafood at Bowman's and the best hot dog you've ever had from Island Burger & Bites. The only thing we wished we had was a large pot for spaghetti night!

First timers

What a fantastic property! Amenities were there when we checked in, building was clean, and manager was so friendly and helpful! Beautiful location. Bunk bed room needs a dresser or something, but having the crib (even though we didn't need it) was very helpful. A lot of steps, so it was nice to have the elevator (350 lb. Weight limit). We were able to park 4 vehicles no problem. Overall, great!

Excellent Location and Property

Summer vacation with our daughter's family, my wife and me. This property is roomy, well maintained and setup and has the comforts of home at the beach. The beach is close and was not crowded since the density of properties near be is low. very nice private pool too! Add great weather this week and we had a perfect vacation.

Beautiful property in great location

Home is beautiful, close to beach and pool. As expected, bunk beds are not great for adults. Other three bedrooms are very nice. Elevator is key with all the stairs. We had a great trip and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home for a girls weekend!

We had an amazing time in Kure Beach! I live in Greensboro, NC and 6 of my high school girlfriends flew in from Minnesota to enjoy a long weekend away from kids/husbands. Family Tides was the perfect setup for us. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends/family and would definitely stay here again! I have very little feedback for the owners or future renters. The kitchen was pretty well stocked but could use some better knives. It also would have been helpful to have a few more hooks in the bathrooms to hang up wet towels. Otherwise everything was perfect!!
