Escape to Kuaotunu and enjoy the private seclusion and Ocean views on the the large decks of this recently modernised house that is only a short stroll to Kuaotunu Beach, Luke's Kitchen, Café and Kuaotunu Store.
Extensive renovations have given this 2 bedroom house the modern upgrade that provides you with all the modern features that makes it so comfortable living here.
All the mod cons are on hand including Dishwasher, Heat Pump, Unlimited Wi-Fi - 100Mbps, Smart TV, Ceiling Fans, UV Water filtration system.
Add in the rural feel with farmland on one side and bush to the rear and you'll soon have a sense of being away from the outside world, yet not too far from it when you choose.
If you feel like a stroll on the beach, a meal out or great coffee in the morning it's only a few minutes down the road.
A big relaxing lounge greets you on your return and a Smart TV and heat pump give you all the comforts that you will need if you just feel like staying in. There is a BBQ and a fully equipped kitchen including oven and dishwasher if you wish to have meals at home.
In the evening gaze out over the beach and village at the sunsets from the large deck as you enjoy some private outdoor dinning.
Retreat indoors to play some board games on the dining table or just sit around and chat or try out the electric foot rests on the couch and put your feet up for a bit while you catch your favourite Netflix or Youtube show on the wall mounted Smart TV.
Whatever you feel like doing. It's your holiday after all.
Location: House is at the end of a cul-de-sac which makes this an ideal location in a private rural setting surrounded by farm animals, native bush and birds.
Lukes Kitchen, Cafe and Kuaotunu Store are only a 4 minute stroll down the road.
Important things to note:
The Blue building seen in some photos is a separate annex that is not available for guest use and is not occupied. You have the property to yourself during your reservation.
Shampoos, Conditioners, Body Wash, Hand Soaps, Toilet Paper, Laundry detergent, Dish brush, Dish liquid, Dishwasher tabs etc are supplied for the duration of your stay. A starter amount of Cooking Oil, Tea and Coffee is on hand for when you arrive but you should bring your own if you will be staying longer or plan to do a lot of cooking.
I provide a fresh linen set every 7 nights so you won't have to do any laundry during your holiday, though there is a front loader washing machine and outside clothesline if needed.
Pets: I'm sorry, this property can not accept Pets as there are livestock nearby.
Children Under 12: This property is not suitable for children under 12 years due to stairs, large glass area and immediate unfenced proximity to farmland.

Paradise Island
Staying in Kuaotunu Beach (as compared to Hahei or Whitianga or any of the other more popular areas) was just fantastic. Being in this small local community in a house situated on a hill overlooking the water was incredible. The house has all the amenities anyone would need and communicating with management was fantastic. I truly hope to return one day. You can't go wrong with this house and location! :)

Amazing Getaway!!
We've really enjoyed our time at Kuaotunu Escape!! Everything was super clean and tidy.. the communication with Mark was easy and friendly and we're already planning our next trip! btw, the view is absolutely priceless..
