Ferienhaus Kratzeburg

The holiday home for up to 3 people, renovated in 2015, is located directly in the village, yet in a very quiet location on the approx. 500 m² separate recreational property. The Müritz National Park information centre, a playground, the small farm shop, the fisherman and a restaurant are all in the immediate vicinity. The bathing area at Käbelicksee is approx. 10-15 minutes' walk away.

The approximately 45 square metre non-smoking bungalow is equipped with a combined living room and bedroom (double bed, sitting area, large wardrobe, flat-screen TV, radio - a guest bed is provided as an extra bed for the 3rd person, but the sitting area is omitted), a kitchen (electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, small dining bar, various small kitchen appliances) and a spacious bathroom (shower, WC, hairdryer).

There is also a large covered and furnished terrace, a fireplace barbecue, sunbathing areas on the property, car park, storage facilities for bicycles and free Wi-Fi as well as a cot and high chair on request. If required, electric heating can be activated, for which a separate invoice will be issued.

Final cleaning, water and electricity consumption are included in the total price. Please bring your own bed linen and towels or rent them for a fee. To be paid on site: Heating costs according to consumption. Pets are not allowed in this property.



The small community of Kratzeburg is located in the centre of the Müritz National Park, not far from the charming and unspoilt landscape of the Havel spring lakes. Kratzeburg is an ideal holiday destination for nature lovers, cyclists, anglers and water hikers. The Havel has its source near Kratzeburg and canoeists will find several hire stations in the surrounding area for unforgettable canoe tours. The Käbelicksee lake, which borders the village, is ideal for swimming and fishing; fishing licences are available from the local fisherman, and in addition to the impressive half-timbered church and a bat exhibition in the Müritz National Park Information Centre, there is a lovely farm shop with regional products and a restaurant, while extensive shopping facilities can be found in Penzlin, around 15 km away, or in the royal seat of Neustrelitz. Despite its idyllic location, Kratzburg has its own railway station and is easily accessible by regional train, which runs every two hours.
